Celebration of Swachh Bharat Day :

Coming 2nd October, 2016, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi is going to be celebrated as the second anniversary of the launch of Swachh Bharat Mission.

The CBSE would, therefore, request all the affiliated schools to observe the ‘Clean India’ drive on 29th September 2016 and contribute towards this initiative by conducting different activities as listed below to mark this occasion

Activities:
** Community Sanitation Work in the vicinity
** Workshops
** Debates
** Competitions
** Rallies
** Human Chains
** Candle March
** Street Play
** Puppet Shows
** Audio Visual Shows
** Any other activity that fits into the school schedule to mark the occasion

Note:
** The Board recognizes and appreciates the role played by the schools in inculcating the spirit of hygiene, cleanliness in our children from initial years of their schooling, so that every child values the importance of good, clean and hygienic living.
** School Heads may ensure extensive participation in the campaign. The students, teachers, parents alongwith the School Management Committee may be encouraged to participate in this programme.
