The Specific Terms and Conditions, and the General Terms and Conditions, are collectively herein after referred to as “Terms and Conditions” for the Smirnoff Sunburn Contest

The Terms and Conditions apply to every person (“Participant”) entering the Smirnoff Sunburn (the “Contest”) conducted by United Spirits Limited (“United Spirits Limited”).

Specific Terms and Conditions:
1. By entering this Contest, all Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you are not agreeable to any of the Terms and Conditions, please do not participate in this Contest.

2. At the time of entering the Contest, the Participant must be a resident of India and must be an Indian citizen. Participant must not be less than twenty five (25) years old. The age of all Participants to be calculated from the date a Participant submits his/ her entry for the Contest.

3. Each Participant must complete their entry by answering the question in the required format. They will have to submit the same during the period commencing 1st November 2016 00.00AM and ends on 31st March 2017 00.00 AM (the “Closing Date”).

4. Participants will be provided a multiple choice skill-based question on the tent card present at the tables in the participating outlets. The participants then need to send a sms to the phone number provided on the tent card (08546841000).

Their sms should be in the following format :
<First Name>space<Date of Birth in DDMMYY>space<Correct Option>space<City> eg. Rahul 020588 C Mumbai.

Out of all the correct entries, winners will be selected at random and contacted via their mobile numbers. The winners shall be sent 4 passes to an upcoming Sunburn event in or nearest to their city, as per the Sunburn festival calendar. These passes will be sent via an email which the winner will need to redeem at the Box Office at the event venue on the event day for a physical pass.

5. United Spirits Limited shall not be responsible to pay for any expenses including travelling charges, boarding and lodging expenses for the concert.
6. The prize in the Contest may be subject to variation at the discretion of United Spirits Limited, and any change will be final and binding upon every Participant who enters this Contest.

7. The prizes for this Contest will be given to the winners as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Each winner must accept his/ her prize in that form. Under no circumstances will cash be given as an alternative. The prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions in cash or otherwise, except at United Spirits Limited’s sole discretion.

8. United Spirits Limited will send a sms and/or call the Prize Winners at the phone number of such Prize Winners. In the event that the Prize Winners do not acknowledge/ accept/ collect/ use their prizes within the stated timeline and/ or do not provide the information requested for by United Spirits Limited within the stated timelines, the Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees that he/ she shall forfeit the prize being awarded and United Spirits Limited shall have the right to award the same prize(s) to another Participant(s).

9. United Spirits Limited is not responsible for failure to contact any potential winner(s), and will not be responsible for contacting or awarding the prizes to any selected Participant(s) who does not respond to United Spirits Limited’s e-mail, sms or telephone calls, if any, within the time periods provided, for any reason whatsoever.

10. The Prize Winners may be liable for any taxes, duties, perquisite tax, income tax and/or surcharges that may be levied on competition/contest prizes/ awards and for any expenses not specified in the description of the prizes.
