The Yeh Rishta Kaira Wedding Baraat:

The following are the terms and conditions which shall be binding on each participant residing in India who voluntarily desire to participate in this contest/activity titled “The Yeh Rishta Kaira Wedding Baraat” hosted by Star India Private Limited  as a part of promotion and viewer engagement of the program titled “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” currently airing on STAR PLUS.

This Contest primarily entails showcasing of Winners (defined below) of the Contest as a part of the Program on the Channel. The Winners will be selected by the Company by selection process conducted by the Company in various Cities (defined below).

Principal Rules:
1. STAR INDIA shall promote, announce and market the Contest through on-ground promotion activities, online, through social media platforms (such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), leaflets and radio from 1st February, 2017 onwards in the cities of Delhi, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad (“Cities”) stating broadly the mechanism in which the Participant(s) can participate in the Contest and the process of registration.

2. The Contest shall be an ‘on-ground’ activity that will be conducted by the Company at the respective Locations (defined below) in the Cities from 4th February, 2017 to 6th February, 2017 (both dates inclusive) (“Contest Period”).

Locations in each of the Cities wherein the Participants need to be present during the Contest Period along with the activity time in each of the Locations shall be decided and finalized by the Company at the discretion of the Company and shall be specified on the Website.

3. All entries at the Locations during the Contest Period shall be on first cum first serve basis and only the Participants who are registered as per the Registration Process (as defined below) shall be entitled to participate in the Contest. It is clarified that the Company reserves the right to close the Registration Process at any of the Locations, in any manner it may deem fit at its sole discretion and the Participant(s) shall have no objection to the same.

4. Registration Process:
Interested Participant(s) shall:
(i) be required fill and execute a registration form at the Location and submit all personal information such as full name, age, contact number, email ID, residential address, permanent account number, etc. or such other information deemed fit by STAR India (“Personal Information”) requested therein (“Registration Form”)

(ii) be given a unique registration code at the Location upon filling the Registration Form (iii) submit all supporting documentation as may be required in the Registration Form. In case the said Participant is unable to comply with the requisites of this Clause, such Participant(s) shall be disqualified by the Company;

5. The Contest essentially requires the Participants present at the Locations to orally answer 3 (three) objective questions that will be asked by the Company representatives or the persons engaged by the Company based on the Program in general (without answer choices) (“Contest Question”). It is clarified that the Contest Questions asked across Locations during the Contest Period shall vary from one Participant to the other and shall be distinct.

6. To participate in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification (as defined below), all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatory required to do the following during the Contest Period:

i. Correctly answer minimum 1 (one) of the 3 (three) Contest Questions (“Answer”) asked by the Company representatives or the persons engaged by the Company on a particular day of the Contest Period;

ii. Perform to the satisfaction of the Company, a specific creative act or dance or dance step or answer any question asked by the Company representatives or the persons engaged by the Company (personal or professional) (“Act/Acts”), as may be requested by the Company wherein the Participant will be judged by the Company on overall personality, performance of the Participant in the Act , entertainment factor and /or any other parameter as deemed fit by the Company at its discretion.

7. For the purposes of this Contest, providing minimum 1 (one) correct Answer for the respective Contest Question asked during the Contest Period across the respective Locations and performing an Act/Acts, which at the discretion of the Company meets all the Performance Parameters shall be considered as a complete and valid entry for the purpose of the Contest (“Entry”). .
