Swar Sadhna Singing Competition:

SwarSadhna is giving opportunity to sing and singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice, augments regular speech by the use of sustained tonation, rhythm, and a variety of vocal techniques

Solo Singing:
Rules:
1. Solo Singing Competition categories are Western and Indian Singing (gazal, sufi, bollywood,patriotic (unity / country based), Indian classical/vocal, religious etc.).
2. Participant need to submit their KARAOKE or Instrumental Music at the time of registration.
3. The allotted time for singing is min 5min to maximum 6 minutes which including time for stage / instruments setting
4. Sufficient care and thought must be exercised in the choice of Lyrics and Composition. In case of any dispute participants will be disqualify and could not perform afterwards
5. If a team is found to be cheating in any way to complete a challenge, they will be automatically eliminated from the entire competition.

Time Limit : Min 3 –Max 5 minutes
Team Size : Individual Participation
Participating Teams : 12 Teams Only (FCFS Basis)
Registration Fee : Rs.100/- per contestant

Group Singing:
Categories for group singing shall be western and Indian like (folk/regional, fusion, patriotic, qawwali, and for western (jazz, rock, pop, rap) etc.

Rules:
1. Participants need to submit their background music, song at the time of registration itself.
2. Participant need to submit their KARAOKE or Instrumental Music at the time of registration.
3. Sufficient care and thought must be exercised in the choice of Lyrics, Composition and Instruments. If found not suitable judge may stop your performance.
4. Participants are required to inform the numbers of Mike/Other requirements in advance (if any).
5. Performance would be stopped at the maximum time limited.

Time Limit : Min 3 minutes – Max 5 minutes (Including stage setting)
Team Size : Min 5- Max 8 in a team
Participating Teams : 10 Teams Only (FCFS Basis)
Registration Fee : Rs.300/- per team

IPER UG Rise Season – III :
On 17 & 18th February, 2017 the Students of Under Graduate College of IPER celebrated their Annual Fest. This was the Third Season of Rise at IPER UG – thrill, fun, frolic, singing, dancing and Inter-college competitions laced these 2 days at IPER Campus, Bhopal.

For participants :
1. Last date of registration for all the competitions is 10thFebruary 2017.
2. All students must carry their institute/college ID cards.
3. Participants are required to carry the Authority Letter duly signed and sealed by Head of the Institution.
4. We appreciate if a Faculty Coordinator is appointed by the Head of the Institution to accompany the students Number for individual, dual and group participation is restricted as per the guidelines of each event and will be on first come first serve basis.
5. Participants must report at the event venue one hour prior to the scheduled time of event in case of absence of the team or participant would be disqualified.
6. Only registered participants can participate and must come one hour prior to the event, in absence of registration slip/ band/ card contestant will not participate.
7. Cell phones should not carry during the performance.
8. Participants can be disqualified from any event on grounds of malpractices & indiscipline. The decision of the event faculty in-charge will be binding and final. In case of any dispute during the competition decision of the judges shall be final binding upon the participants.
9. Events are running simultaneously kindly send your team separately for particular event.
