Autographed Koffee Mug Contest :

The following are the terms & conditions governing the “Autographed Koffee Mug” contest hosted by Star India Pvt Ltd for the promotion of the program “Koffee with Karan Season 5” on Star World SD and HD from 6th November, 2016 onwards every week till the last episode of the Program.

The contest shall be held on Star World Twitter profile at the URL twitter.com/StarWorldIndia (“Twitter Page”) with the @StarWorldIndia handle (“Twitter Handle”) from 6th November, 2016 onwards, every week till the last episode of the Program.

The contest invites interested persons to participate in the Contest by tweeting using the hashtag “#KoffeeWithKangana” & “#KoffeeWithSaif” (“Hashtags”) and following all required mandates herein below (“Participant(s))”.

The Contest shall commence on 19th Feb 2017 2pm onwards, and end at 11:59pm on 19th Feb 2017 (“Contest Period/Period”).

Any information gathered through this Terms and Conditions including the Entry shall be subject to Star India’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which is available at startv.com/in and incorporated herein by reference.

The contest invites interested persons to participate by tweeting to unlock the question of the week. As the participants tweet, the image shall become clearer revealing the question on the mug.

To qualify, they will also need to correctly answer the objective question asked on the cleared image for Star World India (“Participant(s))”.

By participating it is deemed that the Participant(s) have read, understood, accepted and agreed to unconditionally abide with all the Terms and Conditions of the Contest. If you do not agree to be bound or cannot comply with any of the Terms and Conditions, please do not continue.

Your act of participating in the Contest shall be deemed to be your absolute agreement to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference) of STAR India as prescribed from time to time.

The Contest shall be governed by the Principal Rules and General Rules stated herein below and all the Participants in the Contest shall unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by the same.

Principle Rules :
To participate in the Contest the Participant(s) shall follow the procedure as detailed below:
a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of 18 (eighteen) years of age or above at the start date of the Contest Period. The Participant(s) should not have criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Star India and the members of their immediate family are ineligible from participating in the Contest.

c) All Participant(s) must have a valid Twitter account to be eligible to participate in the Contest. For the sake of clarity, it is hereby agreed to and confirmed by the Participant(s) that the same does not include a Twitter account opened and operated by a family member and/or friend of the Participant(s).

d) The Process of the Contest :
i. Participant(s) are required to tweet with each of the Hashtags and tagging the Twitter Handle to unlock the question/s of the week which will be posted as a blurred image/s by Star India on the Twitter Page every Sunday during the Contest Period.

As the Participants tweet, the image shall become clearer revealing an objective question (“Question”).

The Participants need to correctly and accurately answer the Question (only after the episode airing starts 9pm onwards) by tweeting it on the official Twitter page using the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle as displayed on the Twitter Page (“Entry/Entries”). .

ii. Entries submitted without the Hashtag and tagging the Twitter Handle shall be considered null and void.

e) For the avoidance of doubt, for the purpose of calculation of the time period taken by the Participant(s) to publish an Entry, Star India shall rely on the time stamp of such Entry. Star India’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

f) It is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s) to ensure that the Entry submitted does not infringe the rights of any third party including rights in any intellectual property and shall be original in form. Duplicate Entries and/or two or more identical Entries shall be disqualified from the Contest.

g) The Participant(s) shall ensure that the Entry is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of the society, defamatory of any person deceased or alive, etc.

h) Each Participant shall follow the Twitter Handle. Failure to comply with the same shall render the Participant(s) Entry invalid.

i) Each Entry shall be judged inter alia, on the basis of its correctness. The decision of Star India is final and binding in this regard.

j) At the end of each week of the Contest Period, out of all the correct Entry/ies received within that week of the Contest Period for each hashtag, One (1) Participant whose Entries is valid and compliant on the aforesaid parameters shall be randomly selected vide the randomizer and shall be eligible to win the Contest (“Shortlisted Participant(s)”).

Such Participant(s) from the Shortlisted Participant(s) who fulfill all of the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions including submitting of valid Documents (defined herein below) to the satisfaction of Star India shall be entitled to win.
