TaraDeshpande Signature Estate Teas Cooking Contest

The “Signature Estate Teas Cooking Contest with Tara Deshpande – Submit an original tea-time snack recipe to win fabulous prizes and hampers” is open to residents of India aged 18 years or over except employees of Signature Tea Estates and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or anyone judging the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Rules:
** The contest is open on the Tara Deshpande Official website only.
** Your recipe must be original.
** It can be a savory or sweet snack traditionally served as an accompaniment to any kind of tea e.g. Darjeeling, Earl Grey, Kashmiri Kahwa, Masala Chai, Chamomile tea.
** Your recipe could also contain tea flavors and colors. Suggestions for tea-time snacks include cookies, cakes, biscuits, Farsan, finger sandwiches, mini snacks (not cocktail party snacks), fritters, pakoras, traditional Indian foods and global foods served with afternoon tea

** Recipes that are main courses, cocktail snacks, salads, breakfast or luncheon items will be disqualified.
** The contestant is required to fill out the contest form at this link http://www.taradeshpande.in/
** The contestant must post a clear,original and visually appealing picture of their recipe at this link…………
** The contestant must use these 3 tags in their photo post: #taradeshpanderecipecontest #signatureeastateteas @deshpandetara otherwise you will be disqualified
** The contestant must like and follow the Tara Deshpande Official Facebook page and the Tara Deshpande Instagram page.
** Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same contestant will lead to disqualification.
** Closing date for entries will be 20 March-2017, 10 pm IST . After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
** The winners will be announced on 26 March-2017 thru the Tara Deshpande Official Facebook page and the @deshpandetara Instagram account.
** No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received or incorrect entries.
** The promoter – Tara Deshpande – reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
** Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
** The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
** No plagiarism will be tolerated and will result in disqualification.

Judging Criteria:
** Taste of final product – your recipe must work when we test it and must taste good.
** Visual appeal – The final dish must present well and the original photo you submit should also be appealing.
** Creativity, novelty and originality.
** All recipes should be original. We recommend old family recipes, dishes from various parts of India and the world.
** Practical – Your recipe should be something that would appeal to cooks – a dish they should want to recreate.
** If the ingredients are too hard to find or if the dish requires expensive cookware this may discourage potential home cooks from experimenting with your recipe. Be creative but also be practical.
