Hiyoshi Environmental Awards:
We are proud to announce that Hiyoshi Environmental Awards is celebrating its 10th Anniversary and we have now started to receive the application forms for Hiyoshi Environmental Awards 2017.

Hiyoshi Environmental Awards has been established in 2008 to recognize the novel and innovative research in the field of environmental conservation and protection.
In this connection Hiyoshi Corporation, Japan offers environmental awards to Indian researchers who are doing outstanding contribution and progress in the scientific research and application in the areas of environmental conservation and protection.
We would like to convey our sincere thanks to all the well wishers for their time, guidance and support.
It has been our pleasure to felicitate the Environmental researchers who are thoughtful,committed citizens and Environmental warriors working hard for the betterment of the environment.
In the coming years as well we hope to continue with Hiyoshi Environmental Awards and be a part of this noble mission.
Past Award winners, Hiyoshi Alumni members, Applicant and all are kindly requested to circulate the announcement details of Hiyoshi Environmental Awards 2017 in your esteemed university / institution / organization, colleagues, friends, etc., so that they can apply for the Hiyoshi Environmental Awards 2017.

Applicants are requested to fill in the online application from the below link and send the supporting documents including 3 research publications and others if any, and colour passport size photograph to info@hiyoshi-india.com
Important Dates :
20th June 2017 : Last Date for receiving the application form and supporting documents. Note: Any application received after this Last Date will be considered as application for next year.
August 2017 (Tentative): Notification of selection Note: Notification will be sent only to the winners.
September 2017 (Tentative): Award giving ceremony in Chennai, Tamilnadu

AWARD CATEGORIES :
(I) “Hiyoshi Environmental Award”
Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for the fundamental research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs.25, 000 and a citation.
(II) “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution for applied study on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs.25, 000 and a citation.
(III) “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
Annual prestigious award for outstanding contribution by young researcher for research on Environmental Conservation and Protection.
This award will be given to one person and comprises of a memento, cash prize of Rs.15, 000 and a citation.
Eligibility :
(I) “Hiyoshi Environmental Award” and (II) “Hiyoshi Think of Ecology Award”
This award is open to research scientist (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
1. The applicant should have minimum five years of research experience in environmental conservation and must have done outstanding contribution in Researches, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
2. Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
(III) “Hiyoshi Young Leaf Award”
This award is open to young researcher (resident of Indian citizens) who is working in government research institutions/universities and registered private research organization in India.
1. The applicant should have done outstanding contribution in Researches, Design & Methodology Development, Application of Science and Technology for the Protection and Conservation of Environment.
2. The applicant age should not be more than 35 years.
3. Individuals who have received this award earlier are not eligible for consideration.
Selection Process :
Applications will be received from individuals in a standard format through online, highlighting their contribution and enclosing relevant supporting documents including three of their best publications. A duly formed selection committee will evaluate the same. The awards will be announced through newspapers/scientific journals.
