Young Stars Essay Competition :

1. Participants must be currently enrolled as a school student at an accredited institution.

2. Submissions must be a minimum of 500 words. Guideline for maximum words is 700.

3. Submissions must be new, original work, that has not been previously published (this includes articles published in your school newspaper, on other websites or blogs, or even as part of your school work).

Any references made within the work to other studies or publications must be credited and noted. However, submissions will not be considered and may be removed if they are primarily a collection of links to other articles.

4. Guardians of participants are requested to like our Facebook page, to stay tuned to information, results, and publications of their wards. You will be requested to provide a biography, and photo of the participant, which will become part of their profile, and accessible from the article(s) that are published write.

5. All submissions must be received by 11:59PM IST, on 12th June 2017.

6. Individuals may submit more than one article to the competition, but only their last article will be eligible to be promoted to the final round; selected at the discretion of the review panel.

7. Submissions must be on specified topics only, and will be judged upon their clarity, accuracy, and relevance to the topic under which they are submitted. Consideration will also be given to the contemporary nature of the writing, the overall readability of the article, as well as the writing skill of the author.

8. Finalists will be notified by Facebook Posts and Emails by 20th June 2017. We are excited to read what we are sure will be some fantastic articles from students all over India. Good luck to you all!
