All India Moot Court Competition :

We wish to inform you that ICSI-EIRC is conducting the 15th ALL INDIA MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2017 on Saturday the 19th August, 2017 at Kolkata.

Please note that this moot court competition would be a three-tier event, viz.: Chapter Level, Regional Council Level, and National Level. In the first instance, each Chapter would conduct the Moot Court Competition in the Chapter level and send the winning team for Regional Council Level.

The Regional Councils will then organize the Moot Court Competition in their region and send the winning team to participate in the National level event to be organized by EIRC of ICSI.

The Respective Chapters and the Regions will organise the competition inviting competent faculties at their own to select one team to compete at the next higher level on self sustained basis as per rules.

Each chapter can send maximum 2 (two) participants for the Regional Level Competition on the basis of the preliminary round held at the Chapter.

Each Regional Office after conducting the Regional Level Competition may send Maximum 2 (two) participants for the National Level competition to be held at Kolkata.

Last date for receiving nominations for National Level Competition from Regional Offices is on 29st July, 2017 within 5.30 PM. Therefore each Chapter should complete the preliminary round preferably within 15th July, 2017 and the Regional Office should complete the Semi Final Round on or before 29th July, 2017.

Eligibility Criterion:
1. Bonafide registered students of ICSI shall be eligible to participate in the competition provided they are not having other qualification like CA, LLB, CMA on the date 1st July, 2017.
2. Students who have passed their Final / Professional CS Exams shall not be eligible to participate in the competition.

Prize:
A Memento/Certificate would be presented to the Winning Team of the above said national event at any forthcoming convocation of ICSI. Exact date & venue of the same shall be informed in due course.

All India winner team may also be provided opportunity to participate as ICSI’s authorized representatives in similar types of other competitions being organized both in India and abroad by national, international institutions and also commercial organizations (like TV Channels etc.), wherein ICSI decides appropriate to participate.

Students who are interested to participate in the Chapter’s Level Round are advised to submit registration application as per format enclosed to their respective Chapter / Region in Charge latest by 8th July, 2017.

Venue of the National Level Round:
The National Level Round will be conducted on Saturday the 19th August, 2017 (wherein teams of all four regions will be participating) to select the All India winners. The participants have to report on the date at ICSI-EIRC, Kolkata at 10.00 AM.
