Shop Cashless Contest :

(i) To participate in the contest, place an order on Amazon.in in the contest period.

(ii) The order has to be placed using a prepaid payment method – Credit card/debit card/ Amazon Pay balance/ Net banking/ EMI. If you select to pay using ‘cash on delivery’ for your order, you will not be eligible for this Contest.
(iii) The contest period is Sep 11, 2017 and Sep 12, 2017.
(iv) 1000 customers satisfying the conditions will be selected by Sep 26, 2017 and notified.
(v) The selected customers, if satisfy eligibility criteria mentioned below, will receive 100% cashback of their shopping value as Amazon Pay balance subject to a maximum cashback of INR 5000.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
** The ‘Shop Cashless’ contest (“Contest”) is made available to you by Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited (“Amazon”) on the website amazon.in and the mobile site and mobile application thereof (collectively “Amazon.in”).

** Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) before entering into this Contest. You agree that, by participating in this Contest, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements for the Contest, as provided herein below.

** These T&Cs are in addition to the Amazon.in Conditions of Use and the Privacy Notice to which you agree by using Amazon.in. To the extent the Amazon.in Conditions of Use are inconsistent with these T&Cs, these T&Cs will prevail with respect to the Contest only.

** For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires, “You” or “Your” shall mean any natural person who is a participant in the Contest; and “We” or “Our” shall mean Amazon.

ELIGIBILITY:
You need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to enter into the Contest:
(i) you should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India;
(ii) you should have set India as your current country in your account settings on Amazon.in;
(iii) your billing and delivery addresses should be within the territory of India; and
(iv) you should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest.

Residents of the State of Tamil Nadu are not eligible to enter or participate in this Contest, since this Contest is prohibited in the state of Tamil Nadu under Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979.

Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising/contest agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

DETAILS OF THE CONTEST AND HOW TO ENTER:
(i) This Contest will be available on September 11, 2017 and September 12, 2017 (“Contest Period”).

(ii) In order to be eligible for the Contest, during the Contest Period you must:
(a) purchase any product(s) listed by any third party sellers on Amazon.in (each a “Product”) during the Contest Period, provided that your order for the Product(s) should not have been cancelled, returned or rejected (at any time) by either you, concerned seller or Amazon Seller Services Private Limited; and

(b) make the payment on Amazon.in for the Product using any electronic payment method, including debit card, credit card, net banking, Amazon Pay Balance and EMI. For the avoidance doubt, it is clarified that in the event you select to pay using ‘cash on delivery’ payment method for the Product, you will not be eligible for this Contest.

In relation to clause (a) above, it is clarified that “Product” does not include: Amazon Gift Cards, Amazon Pay Balance, gold coins, RBL bank cards, bank cards (such as RBL and ticket compliments GCs), Amazon Prime membership, precious jewellery or Samsung mobile and tablet devices (except Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro).

In other words, you will not be eligible for this Contest on purchase of such excluded products. In the event your order/purchase consists of any aforesaid excluded product(s), you will not be eligible for this Contest in respect of such order/purchase transaction, regardless of your purchase of Products in the same transaction.

(iii) At the end of the Contest Period, amongst all participants who satisfy the eligibility criteria provided herein and undertake the actions stated in Section 2 (under ‘Details of the Contest and How to Enter’) above in accordance with these T&Cs, one thousand (1,000) participants will be selected by a random draw of lots to be eligible to answer the qualifying question for the Contest, which they will receive from Amazon, through an email or phone call.

(iv) Subject to these T&Cs, if the selected participants answer the question correctly within the stipulated time period and during the Contest Period, such selected participants will be eligible to receive 100% cashback for the purchase price paid for the Product, subject to a maximum amount of INR 5,000, in the form of Amazon Pay Balance in the Amazon.in account (“Prize”). It is clarified that the Prize (as Amazon Pay Balance) is capped at INR 5,000.

(v) Each participant will be eligible to receive only one (1) Prize under this Contest, upon answering the Contest question correctly.

MAILING LIST:
By entering this Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon. You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.

OTHER CONTESTS:
Please note that we may be running similar contests or promotions at the same time as the Contest. By entering into any of the Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any benefit and/or prize awarded in the other contest or any other promotion/ contest, unless you enter each promotion/ contest separately.

PRIZES:
There are a total of one thousand (1,000) Prizes that will be given under this Contest. The Prize will be given to the winners, provided the qualifying question is answered correctly, on or before October 31, 2017 by Amazon, in the form of Amazon Pay Balance in the winner’s Amazon.in account.

You understand that since the value of the Prize is based on the purchase price of the Product paid by you, the value of the Prize may vary for each winner.
You acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions applicable to the Prize, including without limitation to the terms and conditions applicable to the use of Amazon Pay Balance.

ODDS OF WINNING:
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Eligible entries are ones that satisfy the eligibility criteria outlined above and follow the steps outlined in the “Details of the Contest and the How to Enter” section above.

PRIZE DRAWING:
The drawing for selection of the participants will be aggregated by September 26, 2017. Amazon will notify the selected participants by e-mail following the draw, and they will be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport.

The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with these T&Cs. Each Prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion.

If applicable, in the event any selected participant does not respond back to any communication(s) sent in relation to any of the Contest within the time period communicated by Amazon, or answers the Contest question incorrectly, he/she shall not be eligible to be declared a winner or to receive the Prize.

The selected participant will also be required to prove his/her age, failing which he/she will be disqualified from the Contest.
