Penny Dreadfuls Contest :

1. Information on prizes and how to enter the HarperCollins India Penny Dreadfuls (Contest) form a part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry (Terms).

2. Entry to the Contest is open to all legal residents of India who are above the age of 18 as on September 4th, 2017 and follow the HarperCollins India Facebook, Instagram and Twitter page. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and Promoter’s related companies and advertising agencies may not enter the Contest.

3. The Terms & Conditions will be posted on the Notes section of HarperCollins India’s Facebook page. Entrants will be solely responsible for all charges incurred in participating in the Contest, including any internet and, or mobile phone charges. Entrants may enter the Contest as many times as they wish provided that each entry is separately submitted

4. How the contest will work :
A crime plot is initiated by one of the four authors and three more take it forward one chapter at a time. The last leg of the author written story is left at a cliff-hanger and turns into a contest.
First Chapter – Trisha Bora – harperbroadcast.com/2017/09…

Third Chapter – Amitabh Pandey
Fourth Chapter – Vish Dhamija

The contest commences with the contestants deciding the fate of the characters and how the story ends.
Best entry wins. Winning entry will be decided by HarperCollins India’s Commercial Fiction editorial team.

5. Entry to the Contest commences on 23rd September 2017 & closes at last entry received at 23:59 hrs of 30th September 2017 (Contest Period). By entering the Contest, Entrants accept these Terms. Participants must submit their entry by tagging @HarperCollinsIN and use the hashtag #CriminallyGood to qualify for the contest.
6. Winner selection for the Contest will take place in October 2017.

7. At the end of the Contest Period, Promoter will select 1 winner from among all Entrants.
The winner will stand to win the following:
a. The story will be published in entirety on Harper Broadcast with a special shout out on all of HarperCollins Inida’s owned social media channels.
b. The winner will receive a book hamper. The number of books and value of the books will be solely dependant on the Promoter.
c. The 4 author chapters + the winner ending chapter will be published as an e-book.

8. The Promoter’s decision will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered abintohe Contest or the judges’ decision(s). The Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prizes (or any part of them) or for lost damaged or misdirected Prizes or mail.

9. Winners will be notified by announcement on our social media handles. Upon request, the Winners may be required to provide their contact details, passport/identity number, proof of residency, proof of age and/or any other details deemed necessary and relevant by the Promoter in its sole discretion prior to the collection of any Prizes.

If the Prize is declined, unclaimed or unable to be claimed, or if a Winner cannot be contacted from the details supplied, the Promoter may direct the judges to select the next best and valid entry from the entries received as an alternative Winner at its sole discretion.

10. The Winners may, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, be required to execute a deed of release and indemnity in a form prescribed by the Promoter in order to receive the Prizes. All Prizes will be awarded to the Winners.

11. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any of the Prizes, and shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered because of participating in the Contest or using any of the Prizes.
