** The competition is open to all Goan citizens.

** Kindly submit your best images at photobbbp[AT]gmail.com and hard copy to The Chief Medical Officer, State Family Welfare Bureau, Directorate of Health Services, Campal- Panaji -Goa, pin code 403001, latest by 27th September 2017, before 4.00pm.. Use the tagline “BBBP photography competition” in the subject line of the email.

** The Hard copy print of the image to be sent to us should be of size 8 X 10 inches
** The images have to be taken in the Goa.
** Submitted images should be in JPEG format and kindly format the images to 18 X 12 inch at 300 dpi.
** Each participant can submit up to two (2) images.
** The best images will be chosen for display at the venue of the state level function.

** Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed. Caption for each image should be given.

** The organizer reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required under the photo submission page. is All submitted images are non-returnable. The file name for each image should be clearly labelled with the participant’s name.

** Participants are entirely responsible for all entry-related costs. Images must be submitted with no borders and also no watermarks.

** Each image submitted must be the original and unpublished work of the participant who must also be its copyright owner. Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial purposes and/or been published will not be eligible.

** By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having granted the organiser the right to use the image in print, broadcast and/or electronic media without any fee payment, for the purposes of promoting the BetiBachao, betiPadhao Scheme.

Due credit will be given to the photographer. Images received by the organizer through the competition will be used by the organizer for commercial purposes.

** The organizer reserves the right to change or replace the competition prizes and/or modify the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, without prior notice.
** The images will be selected by a panel of judges and their decision is final. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process and decision will be entertained.

** The panel of judges will evaluate the images based on the following criteria
– Artistic/visual appeal.
– Extent to which the photograph captures the essence of the theme.

** Images will be judged based on originality, creativity and relevance to the theme.

** The winners of the prizes in both competitions will be awarded the prizes at the State level function on celebration of International Day of the Girl Child on 6th October 2017 at the main hall of the Institute of Menezes Braganza, Panaji at the hands of the proposed Chief Guest, Hon’ble Governor of Goa and best selected posters & photos will be displayed during the said function.
