Applications are invited for JUNIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (JTST) & SENIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST (STST) for awarding JBNSTS scholarships.

Eligibility:
For JTST: Students who have passed their 10th standard or equivalent examinations in 2015 with minimum 75% marks in aggregate and currently studying in 11th standard in Sciences stream (with at least any 3 subjects from Phy/Chem/Math/Bio/Stat/Comp. Sc.) in any school within West Bengal.
For STST: Students who have passed 10+2 examination from any board in 2015 and presently studying in 1st year B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.E./ B.Tech/ B. Stat/ MBBS in any registered institute of West Bengal.
Scholarship Details:
For JTST: Rs. 500/- per month, for two years (during 11th & 12th class) & onetime book grant of Rs. 1000/-
For STST: Rs. 1000/- per month & book grant of Rs. 1000/- per year till the completion of their graduation (for Engineering & Medicine students). Students of basic science will be eligible for DST-INSPIRE fellowship of Govt. of India and will get Rs. 60,000/ as scholarship & Rs. 20,000/- as research grant per year till completion of their master’s degree.

For JTST: 27th September 2015 (SUNDAY), 12:00 NOON – 02:00 PM
For STST: 27th September 2015 (SUNDAY), 10:00 AM – 01:00 PM
How To Apply:
Downloadable forms are available at jbnsts.org or may be obtained by sending self-addressed stamped (Rs. 10.00) envelope to JBNSTS, 1300 Rajdanga Main Road, Kol-107, Ph: 2442-8270/2441- 7542. For hard copy application, please clearly mention either JTST or STST (as applicable) on the top of the envelope.
Applicant may apply online through the designated link available in our website jbnsts.org where a non refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- (for STST) OR Rs. 100/- (for JTST) may be paid through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or may be deposited at any branch of SBI after generating the challan (from internet).
Simple Steps to apply online :
** Fill the Application Form
** Upload Scanned documents as requested
** Pay the Examination fee & save your bank transaction id
** Save your registration number generated after submission of your application form. This will be required for downloading your filled in application form.
** Download admit card after 3 -5 days of completion of your payment.
** In order to download your admit card you need to enter your registration number and bank transaction id in appropriate places.

APPLICATION FORM FOR SENIOR TALENT SEARCH TEST - 2015 :
Eligibility for Application : Students who have passed 10 + 2 examination in 2015 and are studying Basic Sciences / Medicine / Engineering in West Bengal are eligible. Pass course and diploma course students are not eligible. The test will be taken on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Science.
