Under Smart City Project Guwahati Smart City Development Limited (GSCDAL) has initiated a competition involving citizens in the design of area based development such as streets, junctions, parks etc.

The participant has to give desirable situation (target). The design will be assessed by GSCDAL on its doability & innovation. The participants of the competition can be from any walk of life and may include citizens, students, technical experts, teachers and others.

A unique and innovative design competition known as the ‘Smart Re-Design’ will be held from 25th June, 2016. The competition will be carried out nation-wide which gives ample opportunity for the participants to showcase their design skills and talent on a huge platform.

Objective:
The main objective of the competition will be the positive transformation of an existing topography and landscape into a well planned and sustainable environment.

The competition “Smart Re-Design Guwahati” has two parts.

The two parts are as follows:-
1.Street & junction
2.Park

Prize money:
First prize: Rs 50,000/-
Second prize: Rs 30,000/-
Third prize: Rs 20,000/-
