ASSET Talent Search Test:

The ASSET Talent Search Test is an advanced test that challenges students to apply their learning and thinking by answering stimulating questions, which are not usually asked in standard tests.

Eligibility:
To Participate in ASSET Talent Search:
Students must belong to grades V-VIII (As on 27th November, 2016).

ASSET Taking School:
Students scoring in the 90th percentile in the latest ASSET Test, in English, Maths or Science.

Schools Not Taking ASSET:
Students must be nominated by their educators as top performers in either one of the three core subjects -English, Maths or Science.

Test Benefits:
** Grade-level tests may not always challenge academically gifted students sufficiently and reflect their true potential.
** The ASSET Talent Search Test addresses this problem by accurately distinguishing the difference between students who are proficient in topics pertaining to their current learning level and students who possess the ability to undertake topics beyond their grade level
** For students and parents who feel their children are academically gifted, this test can be a starting point that validates their belief, helping them plan their academic future according to their inherent potential.

Test Details:
The format of the test is as following:
** ASSET Talent Search Test includes questions that require a level of thinking that is two grades above the participating student’s current grade. For e.g., a grade VII student will be attempting questions that require grade IX level of thinking.
** The test comprises skill-based multiple choice questions.
** It is a no preparation test, as preparing for it would be counter-productive.
** Post the test, students receive a comprehensive results summary, outlining their abilities and areas of improvement.
