Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition was initiated by Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi in 1982 with the aim of exploring and sharpening the minds of young Mathematicians. Students from various prestigious and prominent schools participate enthusiastically.

A wide participation and over whelming response by the schools has made this competition as one of the most sought after competition in Mathematics. The main objective of this competition is to cultivate positive and scientific approach towards Mathematics and to strengthen the mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem solvers.
This competition helps to identify talent and foster a love of mathematics. Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition positively impacts the analytical skills needed for future careers in an innovative and competitive society. 34th Aryabhatta Inter-School Mathematics Competition for only Class V, ClassVIII and ClassXI will be held on Saturday, 28th January, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
Students of Class V, Class VIII and Class XIare eligible to participate in this Competition. The schools have to submit the data of the participating students on line and the last date of submission of the data on the site is Wednesday, 28th December, 2016. An entry fee of 200/- per participant in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of “Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi” is to be paid.
After entering the details of the Demand Draft, the schools can take the printout of the list of participants. The list of participants with Demand Draft should reach Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony, New Delhi latest by Friday, 13th January, 2017 (02:00 p.m.).
Awards & Certificates:
** Trophy (rolling) to the school scoring highest average percentage of all ten students (for Class V, Class VIII and Class XI each).
** Runners up Trophy (rolling) to the school scoring 2ndhighest average percentage of all ten students (Class V, Class VIII and Class XI each).
Individual Prizes (for Class V, Class VIII and Class XIeach):
1st Prize : Scholarship of 18000/- & Memento
2nd Prize : Scholarship of 12000/- & Memento
3rd Prize : Scholarship of 6000& Memento
Consolation Prizes : Scholarship of 3000/- & Memento to each of the next 3 students in the Merit List
75% & above : Certificate of Merit & Memento
65% & above : Certificate of Merit
