Poster Making Competition

Pen down your thoughts, brush your thoughts and give a theme to the white paper. Create your own design and the white turns into your shades of thoughts.

Introduction Poster competitions raise awareness of issues and participation programs. Posters provide visual, colourful, simple ways to communicate community issues and events, and are suitable for display in community spaces. Poster competitions aim to engage the community’s interest in an issue, reveal community issues, and raise awareness of an issue in a way that is visual, inclusive and fun.

No of participants in each team:
Minimum is one and Maximum is Three.

Prizes:
First Prize: 5,000/-
Second Prize: 3,000/-

Theme:
The theme for the poster making competition shall be announced on the spot.

Rules :
1. The competition shall be held on 31st March-2017 from 4.30 pm onwards. 2. Drawing / painting must be on paper of A2 size (420 x 594 mm).
3. Participants will be provided with white papers, 2 Camlin HB pencils, chart papers, sketch pens, Camlin crayons, 1 Fevistick, 1 eraser, 1 sharpener. However they can bring their own art material as well.
4. Photographs, wires, and other 3D objects are not acceptable. The completed artwork must be on a flat piece of paper.
5. The drawing / painting must not include the national flag and the national emblem of India.
6. The drawing / painting must not represent any particular individual, organization, or brand name and must not depict any religious theme.
7. A code number will be given to the participants, and they should not mention their name or institution in the poster.
8. No text that includes theme title, name, and so on should be written on the front of the poster.
9. A maximum of 2 hours will be given to the participants for completing their posters.
10. All drawing sheets will be the whole sole property of the organizers after the competition is over and will be put up for display on the final day of the fest.
11. Posters must be the original work of the individual student/team.
12. Posters must clearly depict the theme of the event (we can remove this) 13. When the competition is being conducted, each participant should be ready in front of his/her poster to answer all questions from the judges. 14. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the fest. The decision of the winner will be withdrawn if the winner/winners is/are not present at the time of announcement. 15. Judgment criterion shall be on creativity, design, clarity, content and elements present. 16. The judge’s decision will be final and no clarification will be given.
17. The Posters should be submitted flat and not rolled.
18. Most importantly the participants/ team should maintain silence at the venue and conduct themselves
