IoT definitely is the way forward due to its universal applications. Think apps, think IoT. Apps for smart home, Netflix, Google maps, Fitness, Instagram, Diet, Banking etc., the list is never ending. In short, the world of apps has embraced everything right from the basic utilities and necessities to luxuries.

Thus, given the widespread and all-pervasive influence of IoT in our lives, we thought it apt to have it as a theme for this EngiNX 2017. As an EngiNX aspirant, you need to identify what is the real world Engineering Problem that you want to solve using IoT?

While it is already known that the contest got bigger and better this time, just to reiterate, the host of benefits associated with EnginNX 2017 are as listed below:

Benefits :
** A chance to be associated with one of the largest Engineering Innovation Contest.

About IoT Challenge :
“The merger of physics and the digital world will lead the future,”- Jeff Immelt

In this era of the “Internet of things” (popularly termed as “IoT”) can’t agree more to the above quote. The “Internet of things” is becoming an increasingly growing topic of conversation in every forum. It’s a concept that not only has the potential to impact how we live but also how we work.

Simply put, this is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet (and/or to each other). This includes everything from cellphones, air conditioners, car infotainment systems, headphones, wearable devices, jet engine of an airplane or the drill of an oil rig and almost anything else we can think of.
