National Teachers Council Mathematics Olympiad

Mathematics Olympiad Is a National Level Competitive examination to test the knowledge and Competency of students in Mathematics based on the Syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE and State Boards.

Students from Classes III to X can Participate in this competitive examination through his/her schools only.

Objectives of NLMO

** To provide a National level platform for students to compete with their peer in Mathematics.
** To provide an opportunity to begin a systematic preparation towards competitive examinations that come after Class X and XII.
** To strengthen the understanding of concepts and skills.

Eligibility:
Students of Classes III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X are eligible to participate in NLMO.

Examination Pattern

** All questions are of objective type (MCQ)
** No negative marks for wrong answer
** The medium of examination will be English
** Each class has a different question paper

Date, Time & Venue of Exam

Duration:- 90 Minutes
Date of Examination:- 17th November 2017 (Friday)
Time :- 10am to 11:30am
Venue:- Respective school
Result:- 15th January 2018
Last Date of Registration:- 31st August 2017 (Thursday)

Examination Fee

Rs. 125 per student (Rupees One Hundred Twenty Five only per Student). School shall retain 20% of fee collected towards the honorarium of the teacher incharge and other examination expenditure including postal charges and DD commission.

How To Apply

Step 1:
Collect the examination fee and obtain a Demand Draft from a Nationalized Bank towards the examination fee. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of NATIONAL TEACHERS COUNCIL, payable at BANGALORE.

Step 2:
Fill up the registration form and prepare list of candidates appearing for the examination.

Step 3:
