India Schools Video Competition :

Cambridge English Language Assessment and the Australian Trade Commission are running a video competition for Indian school students.

The four winning teams will win a trip to Australia, hosted by leading Australian universities. Your students have to demonstrate their English skills and creativity and create a 3-minute video for their chance to win.

Your students can win a five-day trip to Australia:
Students from IGCSE, IB, CBSE, ICSE and State Board schools across India can have the chance to win a five-day trip to Australia, hosted by leading Australian universities in the Advance to Australia India Schools Video Competition.

Rules :

** The competition is open to school students from grades 7 – 11, studying in India.
** Teams should contain a maximum of two students.
** Schools can nominate a maximum of four teams (one for each theme)
** Teams must produce a short video in English, no longer than 3 minutes, on their chosen theme and upload it to YouTube.

Students must choose one of the following four themes:
** Social entrepreneurship
** Creative Animation
** Robotics
** Marine Sciences

Four grand prizes:
** Each winning team will receive return flights from India to Australia for two students and one accompanying teacher. Accommodation, food and a study course are also included.
** The winners for the best video on Social Entrepreneurship will receive a study visit hosted by Bond University in Queensland’s Gold Coast. Bond is Australia’s highest rated University for educational experience, and highly reputed for its small class sizes, personal attention and practical focus.
** The winners for the best video on Creative Animation will receive a study visit hosted by Charles Darwin University, a young and dynamic institution which is located in Darwin – a very cosmopolitan, tropical and vibrant young city of diverse nationalities, making it a multicultural study environment.
** The team producing the best video on the theme of Robotics will win a study visit to Curtin University in Perth. Curtin is Western Australia’s largest and most multi-cultural university making it an excellent academic choice for international students.
** The team producing the best video on Marine Sciences will receive a study visit hosted by James Cook University which is internationally recognized for excellence in teaching and research, and is known for its supportive study environment and a practical approach to learning.
** The competition is organised by Cambridge English Language Assessment and the Australian Trade Commission with support from Bond University, Charles Darwin University, Curtin University, and James Cook University. Travel is sponsored by National Australia Bank and Credila. SAE Institute is the Knowledge Partner.
