Primary Olympiad :

The Primary Olympiad is a national level certification program and competition for young learners in standards 1 through 5. It consists of the English, Maths and Science Olympiads.

The English Olympiad focuses on spelling and grammar. The Maths Olympiad focuses on arithmetic and geometry. The Science Olympiad focuses on science and environmental studies.

The Primary Olympiad was first launched in June 2010 as the ‘English Olympiad’ and was available only in Mumbai. Today, we have a large number of schools across various cities in India like Ahmedabad, Anand, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Baruch, Bhavnagar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jalna, Jalore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolhapur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Panchgani, Rajkot, Ratnagiri, Solapur, Trichy, Valsad, Vishakapatnam etc who are part of the Primary Olympiad.

Levels:
The competition has five levels. The Primary Olympiad is for young learners in standards 1 through 5. Standard 1 students enroll in Level 1, standard 2 students in Level 2 and so on.

Preparing for the Primary Olympiad:
The Primary Olympiad written competitions are based on the material in the books provided. These books are aligned with the school curriculum. Students can therefore use the provided books as additional practice materials for topics in their school curriculum. The Primary Olympiad also provides trainer’s guide for teachers in participating schools so that they are able to assist students as they prepare for the Primary Olympiad. Along with the study material the students will be provided with a unique registration ID and the password. Using this id and password you will get access to the student portal for additional support.

Fees:
For registrations through the school:
Rs. 600 per subject for standards 1 through 4
Rs. 700 per subject for standard 5

For direct registations (not through the school):
Rs. 700 per subject for standards 1 through 4
Rs. 800 per subject for standard 5

One time payment made for both, Primary Olympiad city round and the national round competition. The fees include registration fee, examination fee, book fee along with the certificates , scorecards and medals.

Timeline for the Primary Olympiad competition:
Last date for registration (through school) – September 30th 2015
Last date for direct registration (not through the school) – September 30th 2015
Exams for the City round Olympiad – January 2016
Exams for National round Olympiad – February 2016 to April 2016

Qualifying Rounds:
The program culminates with a City-round written competition. Students qualifying in the City-round compete against each other in the National-round competition.?

Please contact your class teacher. If your school is not a participating school, then please request the Principal/Olympiad Coordinator to get in touch with the organizers of the Primary Olympiad.

For direct registations (not through the school):
Please fill the registration form and send it to us along with the fees to the address mentioned in the form. Fees can be sent via cheque or DD in favour of “Firefish Networks Private Limited” payable at Mumbai. Please send us the form directly only if your child’s school is not participating in the Olympiad.
