SIP Abacus Arithmetic Genius Contest

The Arithmetic Genius Contest is a major competitive event with participants from all over the state, exciting parents and students alike. ‘The competition is designed to shine light on arithmetic to increase involvement and interest in it.

Contest Levels

There are two levels

State Level :
The competition is intended for students of classes 2, 3 and 4.
** The 50 leading schools in each city will be invited to participate.
** The top 5 students from each class (15 students from each school) qualify for the final round.
** The Preliminary school level contests will take place between June to September, 2019.
** The State level final will be will be in Nov to Mid Dec.

National Level:
** 1st time in India, a National level Arithmetic Contest for primary classes.
** The National Level Final will be held on 23rd December 2019.
** The state toppers from each class qualifies to Nationals.

** The best performing school in the final round is awarded a rolling trophy and a cash award of Rs. 15,000.
** Special Cash Award Rs. 5000 to the math teacher of the champion student.

Round-4 : National Final on 23rd December 2019
Champions a) 1st 25,000 b) 2nd 15,000 c) 3rd 10,000

Abacus is a simple device for calculating, consisting of a frame with rows of wires or grooves along which beads are slid. However in SIP , Abacus is used as a tool to train the child to develop their mental skills which significantly improves their learning ability..
