Aero India Photography Contest
Aero India Show 2019 is scheduled to be held on 20-24 Feb 2019, Bengaluru. One of the part of this event, Aero India is organising a Photography Competition and The subject of the contest is “Flying Objects”.

The contest is open to all Indians residing in India
Contest Period
The contest starts on 21st January 2019 and closes 30th January 2019.
How To Participate?
You can participate in the contest by registering on www.aeroindia.gov.in without paying any entry fee.

After registering you will get a unique number, which is to be quoted in Subject when you send your entry through an email to photographyaeroindia.1@gmail.com.
Contest Rules
** Multiple entries by a person and/or Group entries are not allowed.
** Anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter the contest will be ineligible.
** Entries can be captured using any digital device, including smart phones.
** Photographs should be submitted in jpg file format.
** Both color and monochrome images will be accepted.
** Minimum resolution of the image should be 150dpi and the total data size of the image(s) should not exceed 15 MB.
** All entries should be accompanied with a Title, Brief Write-up (max 500 characters) mentioning the state, subject name and place where the photo was taken.
** Contestant must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of the photographs submitted and the photographs should not have been previously published in any print and digital media.
** The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
** Source image must be made available on request by Dept. of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
Prizes
The Cash Prizes for the winners are
1st Prize : 1,00,000/- (one lakh),
2nd Prize : 75,000/- (seventy five thousand) &
3rd Prize : 50,000/- (fifty thousand).
Winners Announcement
The names of the winners would be announced on our website www.aeroindia.gov.inandthey shall also be informed through email. They may come and collect their prize during the Aero India 2019 at Bengaluru or the prize money would be transferred to their Bank A/c.

Contest Terms
** Dept. of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images.
** Computer-generated or computer-altered/morphed images (other than basic system work) will be disqualified. Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted.
** Dept. of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries.
** By entering your photographs, you grant Dept. of Defence Production/ Ministry of Defence, the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution.
** The winners consent to the use of their images, name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Dept. of Defence Production/ Ministry of Defence, without further compensation
** Best photographs, according to Dept. of Defence Production, will be used on the official social media channels of Dept. of Defence Production/ Ministry of Defence and the subsequent newsletter if any with attribution.
** By submitting your photographs, you accept that you are the copyright owner of the work and that you agree to our terms and conditions.
** There will be no notification to participants of rejected entries.
** All entries will be judged based on creativity, originality and composition by Dept. of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, with the help of an expert panel nominated by the Dept. of Defence Production.
** Dept. of Defence Production reserves the right to reject any entry which he/she does not feel is suitable or appropriate or which does not confirm to any of the conditions listed above.
** Once a winner is declared, the winner will need to revert to confirmation email within 3 to 5 working days or another winner will be chosen.
** Employees (and members of immediate family) of Dept. of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, are ineligible for this contest.
