Star Sports India “Fans Connected” Contest 2021 is hosted and conducted by Star India Private Limited.

The Contest aims to to keep the morale of the cricket fans high by engaging with them and encouraging them to share pictures/ videos of them playing cricket or showcasing their love for the game on the Twitter and Instagram accounts of STAR with username/handle ‘StarSportsIndia’

Contest Period

The Contest will be conducted from May 15, 2021 to December 31, 2021 or such other date(s) as may be decided by STAR at its sole discretion and announced by Star

Eligibility

All the participants in the Contest must be citizens of India residing in India during the Contest Period and must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age with a valid Twitter and/or Instagram accounts as on the date of participating in the Contest

How to Participate?

Steps :
Step 1 : STAR shall invite people to participate in the Contest by posting an invite on the Twitter and/or Instagram accounts of STAR with username/handle ‘StarSportsIndia’ along with the Fans Connected rules.

Step 2 : The Contest requires the Participant to tweet/post pictures/videos of the Participant playing cricket or showcasing their love for the game along with their name on their own twitter/Instagram handles.

Note :
** To be eligible, the Participant must include the hashtag ‘#FansConnected’ and tag “@StarSportsIndia” in their Entry

** The Contest will run from 10 (ten) am to 4 (four) pm on each calendar day of the Contest Period. 4 (four) pm on each calendar day during the Contest Period shall be considered to be the “ Daily Closing Time”.

Winner Selection

** From the total pool of valid Entries received for the Contest from Participants up to the Daily Closing Time, depending upon the number of Entries posted per calendar day, a number of Participants with the best quality Entries shall be selected as the winners of the Contest either on a daily basis or on alternate calendar days during the Contest Period

** The Winners shall be selected on the basis of the quality of their Entries or such other criteria as STAR may consider appropriate at its sole discretion. The decision of STAR in selecting the Winners from amongst the Participants shall be final and binding upon all the Participants.

Terms & Conditions

** The Winners agree that Prizes cannot be transferred, negotiated, refunded or exchanged, as applicable.

** Participants shall provide such information as may be required by STAR from time to time. Any incomplete submission will be considered invalid for the purpose of the Contest.

** Employees of and/ or consultants of STAR and/or persons hired on contract by STAR, sponsors, and the members of their immediate family, are ineligible to participate in the Contest.
