What is OPPO imagine IF Photography Awards?
OPPO India has announced the imagine IF Photography Awards in the country. The initiative – with renowned Director & Screenwriter, SS Rajamouli as its Indian ambassador is designed to spark creativity in mobile photography. The competition, open to all Indian citizens over 18 years, features nine entry categories are Landscape, Portrait, Colours, Unfading Moment, Fashion, Snapshot, Light, Travel, and Collection. The top winners will be announced on July 25, 2024. Last Date of Contest is 15th June 2024.

Eligibility of imagine IF Photography Awards
Nationality: Entrants must be Indian citizens.
Age: Participants must be at least 18 years of age as on the submission date..
Mobile Device Categories:
** The round 1 of the competition is open for all mobile device owners.
** OPPO India will provide devices for Round 2.
** Weekly winners will be selected only from the shot on OPPO entries and will be announced on the official Instagram handle @OPPOIndia.
How to Participate in the IF Photography Awards?
Participants can share their smartphone photographs for ‘Round 1’ until June 15, 2024 (Midnight IST). From these, 50 winners—announced in the last week of June—will proceed to Round 2. This second phase will commence in early July, and the final six winners will be announced on July 25, 2024.
Round I :
** Participants can submit entries as per various categories. Each participant can submit up to 13 photos in each category.
** The submissions must adhere to the category into which they are submitted.
** Entrants must submit a title within 100 Characters along with a caption within 1000 characters describing their photo.
** Only photos in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC, and HEIF formats are accepted. The submission should not be smaller than 1000 pixels in width, and the size of a single photo should be larger than 1M and not exceed 20M.
Round II: Photo Story
** Entrants must submit a photo story comprising a minimum of 5 photos and maximum of 10 photos in any one category.
** Entrants must submit a title within 100 characters along with a caption within 1000 characters for the overall photo story. The title must be indicative of what the photo symbolises or is capturing. The caption must be an elaboration of the idea and sensibility that it is seeking to convey.
** Only photos in JPG, JPEG, PNG, DNG, HEIC, and HEIF formats are accepted. The submission should not be smaller than 1000 pixels in width, and the size of a single photo should be larger than 1M and not exceed 20M.
Prize of imagine IF Photography Awards
** From the top winners, the Gold winner will be awarded a cash prize of INR 5,00,000, two Silver winners will win INR 2,00,000, three Bronze winners will win INR 1,00,000.
** All five winners will get the opportunity to attend the Paris Show and the latest OPPO phone, besides getting an opportunity to collaborate with OPPO India for the photography led projects.

1. What is the format of the photography contest?
The contest comprises two rounds. In the first round, participants can use any of the listed 9 categories to send multiple entries. Entries are open for all smartphone users. Those advancing to the second round will receive OPPO phones to capture their entries.
2. Can I use any smartphone for the first round?
Yes, participants can use any mobile device for their submissions, in the first round. For the second round, we’ll be providing the OPPO devices to the selected participants.
3. Can I use a DSLR camera for the competition?
The competition pertains specifically to smartphone photography content, and therefore, the use of DSLR cameras is prohibited.
4. Are there any specific categories for each round?
Categories for each round will be announced with the respective contest guidelines. Participants need to ensure that their submissions adhere to the categories.
5. Can I submit multiple photos?
Yes, multiple entries can be submitted as per various categories. In Round 1, participants can submit entries as per various categories. Each participant can submit up to 13 photos in each category.
6. How will winners be selected in each round?
Winners will be chosen by the jury based on the pre-defined judging criteria.
7. When will the winners be announced?
The winners of round 1 will be announced at the end of June. The winners, duly informed individually and through email, SMS & platform, shall progress to the second round.
8. Can I participate if I am not an experienced photographer?
Yes. The contest is open to photographers of all skill levels.
9. How do I submit my entries?
To submit entries on the OPPO imagine IF India website, participants need to create/log-in to their account and fill the submission form. By entering the competition, entrants accept and agree to the privacy policy on the official OPPO Imagine IF India website.
10. Is there an entry fee?
No fee is required for participation in the contest. Participants are only required to adhere to the contest guidelines and submit their entries in accordance with the instructions provided.
