What is MyGov Income Tax Quiz?
Income Tax Quiz is organized by Income Tax Department & MyGov Portal. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens. The Quiz will have 10 (ten) multiple choice questions, each carrying one mark. All participants of this Quiz will receive a participation certificate. Each month 10 winners will get a hamper which will include souvenirs from the Income Tax Department and an E-certificate. Last Date of Contest is 31st July 2024.

Objectives of Income Tax Quiz
** Income tax plays a crucial role in fueling the growth of India by providing the Government with essential revenue for infrastructure development, social welfare programs and public services.
** This Income Tax quiz is a medium through which we can encourage a basic understanding of taxation amidst a larger populace and engage with a wider audience.
** The Income Tax Department, in collaboration with MyGov, intends to run this quiz in order to reach a wider section of citizens, especially the youth of the nation and educate them about basics of direct taxation.
Eligibility of Income Tax Quiz
1. The Quiz will be open on the MyGov portal for 3 months starting 1st May, 2024 till 31st July, 2024.
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
3. The Quiz is available both in English and Hindi language. A participant may choose either of the languages.
Gratification of Income Tax Quiz
Each month 10 winners will get a hamper which will include souvenirs from the Income Tax Department and an E-certificate.
Terms & Conditions of Income Tax Quiz
1. The Quiz will be open on the MyGov portal for 3 months starting 1st May, 2024 till 31st July, 2024.
2. Entry to the Quiz is open to all Indian citizens.
3. The Quiz is available both in English and Hindi language. A participant may choose either of the languages.
4. All participants of this Quiz will receive a participation certificate.
5. The Quiz will have 10 (ten) multiple choice questions, each carrying one mark. A participant will get 5 (five) minutes to complete the Quiz. There will be no negative marking.
6. If participant is a first time user, he/she fills the required details for participation. By submitting the details and participating in the quiz, participants can be contacted if declared a winner.
7. The organisers reserves the right to disqualify participants, refuse/discard entries if the information submitted is incomplete, false or erroneous. Any kind of malpractices such as impersonation, multiple entries etc. will not be accepted.
8. The organisers reserves the right to amend/cancel terms and conditions of the Quiz at any point of time as considered.
9. Income Tax Department will disburse the winning rewards and certificates to the selected winner(s).
10. Should any dispute or difference arise, the decision of the jury shall be final.
11. All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the participants themselves.
12. By entering the Quiz, the participant agrees to have read and accept the above mentioned terms and conditions.
