What is GIANT Hunt Anime Contest?

The GIANT Hunt is organised by Image Infotainment Limited (IMAGE Group), one of India’s pioneering creative education organisations, with three decades of expertise in nurturing talent across animation, visual effects, gaming, design, and emerging creative technologies. The GIANT Hunt is a global online anime and manga art contest, open to participants worldwide from age 8 and above. It invites anime lovers to express their passion through original, hand-drawn character sketches, inspired by clearly defined anime character types.

Eligibility of GIANT Hunt Anime Contest

The GIANT Hunt is open to individual participants worldwide under the following age categories:

** 08 to 15 years
** 16 to 24 years
** 25 years and above

Participants must register under the correct age category at the time of submission. Entries submitted under an incorrect category may be disqualified. Participants aged 08-17 years must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before registering. Completion of registration shall be deemed as confirmation that such parental or guardian consent has been obtained.

How To Enter in the GIANT Hunt Anime Contest?

Taking part in The GIANT Hunt is simple and completely online. Follow these steps to submit your artwork successfully.

Traditional:
Step 1: Register
Sign up online and unlock anime tutorials and online masterclasses from manga creators and professionals.

Step 2: Draw
Create one anime-style artwork based on one of the seven character types.

Step 3: Capture
Scan or photograph your drawing clearly, with the full artwork visible is good. Avoid shadows or glare.

Step 4: Upload
Submit your artwork through the official online portal. Ensure the artwork file is clear and properly cropped before uploading.

Note:
If declared a winner, the physical artwork will be required as proof of creation and originality. Please keep it safe.

Digital:
Step 1: Register
Sign up online and unlock anime tutorials and online masterclasses from manga creators and professionals.

Step 2: Create
Create one anime-style artwork based on one of the seven character types using the best of your creativity, design, expression, and style.

Step 3: Save
Save your final artwork in PNG or JPEG format.

Step 4: Upload
Submit your artwork through the official online portal. Ensure the artwork file is clear and properly cropped before uploading.

Note:
If declared a winner, a full start-to-finish screen recording with the cursor seen, will be required as proof of creation. Ensure the entire process is screen recorded. Use a free screen recorder if needed (OBS, etc.).

Artwork Requirements & Restrictions:
To ensure fairness and originality, all submissions must meet the following conditions. Entries that do not comply may be disqualified.

Only hand-drawn artwork, both traditional and digitally done using tablet and stylus, is permitted Participants may use traditional tools such as pencils, pens, ink, markers, and colours. Both black-and-white and coloured artworks are allowed.

The following are not permitted:
** Copyrighted characters or close imitations.
** Traced or plagiarised artwork.
** AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork.

Content Restrictions:
Submissions may be disqualified if they:
** Violate contest rules.
** Infringe third-party rights.
** Contain false or misleading information.
** Include offensive or inappropriate material, including:
** Hate speech.
** Extreme violence.
** Sexual exploitation.
** Offensive stereotypes.
** Political or religious propaganda.

Participants are expected to maintain cultural sensitivity. Artwork must not offend cultures, communities, or beliefs worldwide.

Prizes of GIANT Hunt Anime Contest

The GIANT Hunt rewards creativity, originality, and participation at a global scale.

Guinness Certificate:
Irrespective of rank, eligible participants will receive a Digital Record of Participation Certificate from Guinness World Records.*

The Grand Prize:
House ₹1 Crore (USD 100k). For the single best overall entry across all age categories, judged on artistic skill, story, and age-group relevance.
