International Assessment For Indian Schools :

International Assessments for Indian Schools (IAIS) is a leading international student assessment programme that provides an objective, in-depth, external assessment of student skills in key learning areas.

Update : Macmillan ICAS Educational Assessment Test 2018 : www.contest.net.in/36518.html

IAIS is a diagnostic assessment which brings to light the strengths and weaknesses of a student in the four core subject areas of English, Science, Mathematics and Digital Technologies. This diagnostic assessment is benchmarked against global paradigms of excellence.

Benefits of International Assessments:
** Assessments enable students and educators to monitor learning progress and teaching pedagogy through the use of objective and in-depth data.
** International diagnostic assessments bring to light strengths and weaknesses in core subjects at a conceptual level with no dependence on curriculum.
** Benchmark data across school, country, and region allows students and schools to analyse: their academic positioning, and level of conceptual understanding.

IAIS is offered in:
English: Classes 3 to 12
Science : Classes 3 to 12
Mathematics : Classes 3 to 12
Digital Technologies : Classes 3 to 10

Medals & Certificates:
** The top performing students in IAIS, in each subject and in each class across the region are awarded a University of New South Wales gold medal. The awarding of all medals and certificates is at the discretion of EAA. Medals are awarded when a score is judged to be sufficiently meritorious.

** Students need to secure at least a distinction to be eligible for the medals. Students must sit only for the paper(s) they have registered for and for the class in which they are currently enrolled. Schools must ensure that standard invigilation procedures are followed during the examinations.

Every student who enters IAIS receives a certificate in one of the following categories:
High Distinction : Top 1% of entrants
Distinction : The next 10% of entrants
Credit The next 25% of entrants
