Strength mania comes to india :
Strongest Indian is India’s 1st strength based reality show, providing a platform for this strongman sport in India like never before. This show will go across the country with auditions in 4 cities and the Grand Finale in Goa during the month of October 2015.

The competing acts at the show will be internationally renowned feats such as farmers walk, vehicle lift, truck pull, tug of war and beer keg toss. The show will have professionals and amateurs participating. An international referee from World Strongmen Federation (WSF) will judge the competition. International strongman winners from Russia, Europe and Canada will be invited as special guests as part of the jury and inspire the contestants with their demonstration acts.

All the participants will be grouped on the basis of their weight. The women will be organized into 2 categories – below 60 Kg and above 60 Kg and the men will be grouped into 4 categories – below 75 Kg, 75-85 Kg, 85-95 Kg and above 100 Kg. The winners from each of the 6 categories will be rewarded a cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh along with a motor bike.

Extensive promotion campaigns will run across 6 news channels – NDTV 24×7, Times Now, CNN IBN, AajTak, Zee News, CNBC Awaaz, 6 English general entertainment channels – NDTV Goodtimes, AXN, FX Channel, HBO, Fox Crime, Romedy now and 3 radio stations – Radio one, Radio Mirchi and Red FM.

Scoring System :
Each event will garner 1 point for Gold, 2 Points for Silver & 3 Points for Bronze Events which are merely tasks to be finished with a fixed given weight & have no time restriction will garner 1 point for all those who fail in that given event & 0 Points for those who complete the task. This applies to events such as the Beer Keg Toss & the Vehicle Lift. The person who garners the least amount of points then is crowned as The STRONGEST INDIAN (Male / Female)

SFI will be headed by Pradeep Baba Madhok, Kaizzad Capadia and the committee members on board will be Samit Gupta, Rizwan Sayed, Roshan Roddrigues, Pardeep Chibb, Kalyani Tilak Capadia and Purabee Jhaveri as the office bearers of this federation.
