#IshqUnplugged Contest:

“Channel V Dubsmash – #IshqUnplugged Contest” which will be hosted by Star India Private Limited on the social media pages of Channel V present on Channel V Facebook Page and Channel V Twitter handle i.e @ChannelvIndia through the Dubsmash Application as a part of the promotion and viewer engagement of the world television premiere of program titled “Ishq Unplugged” that is currently being aired on the Channel V

Principle Rules:

1. This Contest shall be activated and played only through mobile devices including but limited to iOS, Symbian, Blackberry, Nokia, Androids and all models of devices falling under the same. It is clarified that no charge shall be made to download the Dubmash App on personal devices or to participate in the Contest.

2. STAR INDIA shall announce and market the Contest on its social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from March [14th], 2016.

3. The Contest will commence on March [14th], 2016 at 5 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) and will end on March [18th March], 2016 at 8 PM (“Contest Period”) on the respective Platforms. STAR India reserves all rights to make amendments to the Contest Period and/or Rules and Regulation and/or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice to the Participants.

4. To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period:
a. Download the Dubsmash App on the Participant’s smartphone, android or iOS device and create a personal account/profile of the Participant on the Dubsmash App;
b. Record the video in the manner set out in sub-items (i) and (ii) of (h) below;
c. log in to either or all of the Platforms using his/her Facebook/Twitter/Instagram account/credentials;
d. Follow the Channel V Facebook Page, Channel V Twitter Handle and/or Channel V Instagram Handle on the respective Platforms;
e. Allow full access to the social media handles of Channel V to the respective Participant’s profile;
f. The Participants shall then upload their Dubsmash videos on the respective Platform(s) in the manner provided below:

g. Dubsmash Video Upload Functionality:
i. The Participant(s) shall select the sound recording ‘Ishq Unplugged’ (“Ishq Unplugged Title Track”) which is available in the Dubsmash App;
ii. Record a video in MP 4 or FLV format using the Ishq Unplugged Title Track that features an act or performance by the Participant ALONG with his/her partner (“Couple’s Act”) of maximum 10 (ten) seconds which, when combined with the sound recording of Ishq Unplugged Title Track create a Dubsmash video (“Dubsmash Video”).

iii. The Dubsmash Video shall then be uploaded on the respective Platforms in the following manner and shall at all times be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective Platforms:
** Facebook – The Participant shall upload the Dubsmash Video on the Channel V Facebook Page using the hashtag #IshqUnplugged and by tagging @ChannelvIndia and tagging the respective partner of the Participant performing in the Dubsmash Video;
** Twitter – The Participant shall upload the Dubsmash Video on the Channel V Twitter Handle using the hashtag #IshqUnplugged and by tagging @ChannelvIndia and tagging the respective partner of the Participant performing in the Dubsmash Video;
** Instagram – The Participant shall upload the Dubsmash Video using the hashtag #IshqUnplugged and by tagging @channelv.india and tagging the respective partner of the Participant performing in the Dubsmash Video.

iv. The respective partner tagged by the Participant on either of the Platform(s) shall NOT be allowed to submit a separate Dubsmash Video (either with the same Participant OR with any other third party) ON THE SAME PLATFORM as submitted by the Participant.

He/she is however allowed to:
(i) upload and submit the Dubsmash Video (as a participant) on the Platform(s) through which her/her partner has NOT independently participated and
(ii) tag either the same participant or any other third person as his partner for the purpose of the Contest on such Platform(s). Dubsmash Videos uploaded in violation of this sub-clause shall be disqualified from the Contest.

v. It may be clarified that Dubsmash Videos uploaded in any format other than that prescribed above or having an unclear audio or video will be deemed invalid and will be disqualified;
vi. The Dubsmash Video uploaded by the Participant on the respective Platforms shall only be the video recorded through the Dubsmash App and NOT through any third party links or applications such as YouTube, etc.;
vii. The Participant may view the official Dubsmash video of the Ishq Unplugged lead actors hosted on the respective Platforms;
viii. For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant(s) mandatorily have either a valid Facebook account or Twitter account or Instagram account and must be residing in India during the Contest Period;
