Indian T20 League :

** Fantasy Cricket is a game in which you not only get the pleasure of being the owner/manager/selector of a cricket team, but also a chance to show off your knowledge of the sport, and what’s more, even win prizes.

** We give you 1 million in (unfortunately) virtual currency, using which you create a virtual squad of real cricketers, who’ll then earn you virtual points in real matches, thereby giving you virtual fame and real prizes. The Championship Mode will run through a tournament and you have the power (or shall we say, responsibility) to make substitutions to maximize your points.

** You can also form Leagues where you can play with your friends (or enemies) and earn not just eternal bragging rights but also some cool prizes if your League comes out on top. So, start off by creating a team with a cool name, an inspiring motto and an awesome emblem.

** Do remember to keep Fandromeda a fun place, by avoiding racist, vulgar or offensive names, mottos or images, and by not violating any copyright. Psst, we have strict moderators.

Creating Your Squad:
** Right. So, you have 1 million in virtual currency and you need to create your star-studded squad from the roster of players. Each player comes at a price, ranging from 55K to 110K. You need to pick 11 players while staying within your budget of 1 million.

** By the way, these player prices have been calculated based on a variety of factors like the points usually earned per match, recent form, experience, etc. The price will stay constant throughout the duration of the tournament. Each player has also been assigned a skill – Batsman, Bowler, All-Rounder or Wicket-Keeper. A successful T20 squad is one which has great batting depth and plenty of bowling options. Your squad will be no different.

Therefore, you need to pick 11 players with:
1. At least 7 players who “can bat”.
2. At least 6 players who “can bowl”.
3. At least 1 player who “can keep”.
4. An All-Rounder will be counted (obviously) as someone who “can bat” and “can bowl”. And in line with modern trends, a Wicket-Keeper will also be counted as someone who “can bat”(think, Dhoni).

** Your squad can have no more than 4 “overseas” players. This is after all, the Indian T20 League. And one last thing. We appreciate the fact that you may be a die-hard fan of a particular team, But, as manager/owner/supremo, you really have to give some chance to players of other teams. So, your 11 cannot contain more than 6 players from a single team.

** Once you have created your squad, it’s time to pick your Stars – A “Batting Star” whose batting points will be doubled, and a “Bowling Star” whose (you got it) bowling points will be doubled. You are free to pick a single player as both “Batting Star” and “Bowling Star”. Of course this may make the other 10 players in your squad a bit unhappy, but hey, you’re the boss.

Winning

** In the Fantasy Championship, the team with the most points at the end of the tournament wins the Overall prizes. Budget spent doesn’t matter. Subs used don’t matter. It’s just the points. In case of a tie, the prize will be awarded to the Championship Squad which was finalized earlier for the Finals.

** The League with the highest League score also wins a prize. In case of a tie, we look at the top member’s fantasy score in each of the tied League; the highest one is declared the winner. If the tie still persists, we then look at the members who are in the 2nd position… and so on till we land on the 10th member.

** In case of an unresolved tie, the League that was created earlier wins the prize. All those who have won prizes will receive an email (on their registered email id) with details on how to claim them.
