Tamanna #NameTheTeam Contest:

The following Principal and General rules are the rules and regulations which shall be binding on each and every participant who voluntarily agree to participate in the “TAMANNA – #NameTheTeam Contest” which will be hosted by Star India Private Limited  on the STAR Plus Facebook page, i.e facebook.com/Starplus eas a part of the promotion and marketing strategy for the Hindi program titled “TAMANNA” ,which is telecasted on Star Plus

Principle Rules:

1. STAR INDIA shall announce the Contest on the Platform.

2. The Contest will commence on 26th May at 10am Indian Standard Time (IST)and will end on at 30th May at 11:59pm IST (“Period”) on the Platforms . STAR India reserves all rights to make amendments to the Period and/or Rules and Regulation and/or such other terms and conditions stated herein, without giving prior notice. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant (s) to check the Rules and Regulations for the Contest on the Platform from time to time. STAR India also reserves the right to cancel and/or postpone the Contest without any prior intimation to the Participant (s).

3. The Contest shall comprise of 1 (One) objective question based on the Program and /or its characters and /or any other aspect related to the Program and 1 (One) subjective question (open ended) in which the Participant(s) have to suggest an unique and creative and best suited name for the lead character’s cricket team in the Program triggered on the Platform during the Period (hereinafter collectively referred to as Question(s)).

4. To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to log in to the Platform using his/her Facebook account/credentials and click on the relevant page/tab of the Contest on the respective Platform or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed /requested on the Platform. For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant (s) mandatorily have a valid Facebook account and must be residing in India during the Period of the Contest.

5. Participant (s) shall thereafter be required to correctly answer 1 (One) objective question and 1 (One) subjective question (open ended) triggered during the Period on the respective Platforms by posting (i)the correct answer for the 1 (one)the objective question and correct answer for the 1(one) subjective question (open ended) in their own original ,creative and unique way and in the correct format as mentioned in the contest details of the post, (“Answer”) .

If the Participant(s) provides an incorrect Answer(s) to the objective question or provides Answer (s) to the subjective question in a format other than the one mentioned in the contest details of the post, then his/her Entry (as defined below) shall be considered incomplete and the Participant(s) shall not be eligible for the Prize. .

It is clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Prize, it is mandatory to post the Answers for both the objective and subjective questions of the Contest triggered on the Platform. It is clarified that each Participant (s) shall be entitled to post Answer(s) only once on Platform during the Period .

6. submit their full name, email id, the name of their city where they reside, contact number(s), etc. as requested on the Platform in a manner and form, as may be requested and /or prescribed on the Platform(“Personal Information”).

7. For purposes of the Contest, “receipt” of Answer(s) occurs only when the website server records the Answer information upon the entrant clicking “Submit/Post” button. For sake of clarity, any automated receipt confirmation shall not constitute proof of actual receipt.

8. At the end of the Period on the basis of the Participant(s) having made a valid Entry, correct Answers to the objective Questions and the originality, uniqueness and creativity of the Answer to the subjective Question tweeted/posted by them, STAR India shall at its discretion shortlist the Participant(s) .

Subsequently out of this shortlisted Participant(s) ,STAR India shall select and declare 1 (One) winner at the end of the Period (hereinafter referred to as ‘Winner’). These Winners shall be selected and declared based on the criterion mentioned hereinabove by way of random selection by STAR India at its discretion, from the aforementioned shortlisted Participant(s). The total number of Winners declared during the Period shall not exceed 1 (One).
