Troubleshoot Activity Overview:

Sapient Consulting Private Limited (“Sapient”), a company specializing in IT and financial consulting services, is hereby launching the TroubleShoot contest, an online hunt to find an extraordinary mind that breaks the boundary of digital innovation.

It is a pan India integrated contest that will continue for duration of 12 days commencing June 16th, 2016. All participants are expected to comply with the terms & conditions (“Terms”) of the Competition which are outlined below.

Eligibility Criteria:
** Participation can be on individual or team basis (comprising not more than two members).
** The Competition is only open to residents of India.
** Each individual/team is entitled to submit one entry only.
** The participants should be of legal age of majority.
** In case a participant is employed, the conditions of employment of such individual should not prohibit or restrict his/her participation and/or selection as a finalist in the Competition.
** Students are entitled to participate in the competition provided their applicable university /institution rules permit such participation.
** Sapient employees and contractors are eligible to participate; however, such participation in the Competition does not entitle employees to work on the prototype during normal working hours or to use Sapient resources for participation in the Competition.
** Family and relatives of Sapient employees and contractors cannot participate unless they have disclosed the related information in full at the time of submission of the entry.
** No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received on time for whatever reason.
** The entry and all related information and materials will need to be provided in writing in English.

Timelines & Submission Details:
** The Competition is open from June 16, 2016 and entry methodology and other relevant details can be accessed at the following link troublemakers.co.in
** Last date for submitting the entry is at 12PM, June 26, 2016. After this date, no further entries to the Competition will be permitted.
** Top 10 entries will be announced on June 30, 2016 pursuant to which these entries will be open for internal and external online voting. The online voting scores will hold 10% weightage in the overall evaluation process.
** A webinar session will be conducted via Google hangout on July 2, 2016 for the purpose of training the top 10 entries to create prototypes. It is mandatory for the top 10 participants to attend this webinar, the details of which will be shared post announcement of top 10 entries.
** The last date for submission of prototypes in video format will be July 10, 2016. Participants failing to submit their prototypes in time will be automatically deemed as eliminated.
** The online voting for top 10 entries will conclude on July 10, 2016. The top 5 entries will be announced on July 15, 2016.
** The final winner and the runner-up will be announced on July 23, 2016.

Final Evaluation:
** Out of the top 5 entries, final winner and the runner-up will be chosen by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by Sapient who will give 10% weightage to the outcome of the online voting.

** The prizes are not transferable and will be subject to necessary taxes as applicable. The prize will only be given once the identity and eligibility of the winner is proven to be true.

Disqualification:
Sapient reserves the right to disqualify any entry without giving any notice if it has reasonable grounds to believe that a participant has breached any of the Terms and/or any applicable law (including but not limited to copyright laws) or has otherwise infringed the intellectual property of any other party.
