Make Your City Smart Bhubaneswar :

** Bhubaneswar was selected in the first 20 Smart City List declared by Government of India in the year 2015 and has been ranked number one in the context for planning and preparing the proposal. I

** It has been envisioned to make Bhubaneswar a 24/7 activity based, thriving and energetic place where people will live work and play. Under Smart City project an SPV has been created called Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited which manages the affairs of the Smart City Bhubaneswar.

** In the development process and planning , Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited(BSCL) has taken citizens of the city as partner in the progress. The process of co-creation through cooperative-competition seen during the preparation of the Smart City Proposals (SCP) is to be continued during implementation.

** Now BSCL has initiated a competition involving “citizens” in the design of Area-based development such as Streets, Junctions, and Parks etc. The participants have to design and give the desirable situation (target). The design will be assessed by the BSCL on its do ability and innovation.

The competition “Make Your City Smart” has three parts as follows :
1. Street
2. Junction
3. Parks

BSCL has selected the following locations for each “PART” for the competition:
** Street – VANIVIHAR SQUARE TO RAM MANDIR SQUARE
** Junction – RAJMAHAL SQUARE & RUPALI SQUARE
** Park – SAHEED-NAGAR ROBOT PARK & DIFFERENTLY ABLED PARK

Prize Money:
First Prize: Rs. 100,000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 30,000/-
Third Prize: Rs. 20,000/-
