20th National Photography Competition:

Nature & Development are integral part of existence. Can nature & Development compliments each other or they contradict each other? Does technology help development? How sustainable is development for Nature? Can economic development ensure healthy Nature?  Livelihood of many communities depend on nature, also natural resources are pivotal for development.

Those are thoughts which we have under the theme. We are looking for photographs those can provoke similar thoughts or appreciate efforts of someone who is making efforts to conserve Nature. Photographs which can illustrate that Nature & development can co-exist. If you think your photographs can communicate/relate the theme, please send us your entries.

Awards:

Guidelines & Rules:
1. The competition is open to all Indian citizen.
2. One participants can send five prints in each section.
3. Color & Black & White prints should not be less than 8×12(Inch) & not bigger than 12×18(inch) size photograph should be un mounted.
4. No entry fee or entry forms.
5. All prize winning photographs will be the property of Gujarat state Lalitkala Academy will have the right to exhibit/publish the photographs whenever it desires.
6. Prize winners will be informed personally by post.
7. Computer Aided/other effected photographs will not be allowed.
8. Organizers will take every possible care of the photographs, but will not be responsible for Any loss or damage of the same.
9. Xerox can be used of this labels & Rules.
