India Film Project:
In an age where filmmaking has become a hobby more than a profession, India Film Project is an online and on-ground platform for you to make a film over the weekend, away from your huff-buff schedule, and showcase it to people around and get awarded. It’s not a cakewalk, and certainly not when all you have to make a film in 50 hours.

With a handful of hours with you to make your passion a reality, all you have to do is write the nicest script, select the most appropriate locations, get the people do acting, do the edit, compose a grabbing music and make the best possible film adhering to the competition theme.
How to Apply:
** Registrations for India Film Project 2016 are solely online. Team member who registers the team will be regarded as Team Leader.
** It will require filling up details of Team Leader and other members. While filling the Team Leader details is mandatory, other member’s information could be edited anytime later till the last date of registration.
Professional Filmmaking Competition:
** Team Leaders who have produced 3 or more than 3 films in the past are eligible to register in the Professional Filmmaking Competition. Teams who opt for Professional Filmmaking Competition shall have to submit the link of their channel or playlist with their respective work in the registration form itself.
** Previous work can include short films, advertisements, portfolio films, feature lengths, brand films and documentaries. Work such as editing assignments, working as assistants in either departments, working in production team or such, shall not be eligible for this category.
** A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and have up to 20 people including the team leader. The registration fees for Professional filmmaking competition is Rs. 2500/- which has to be paid online.
** After completion of the transaction and payment confirmation, you will receive a unique Team ID and a payment confirmation mail from IFP. This Team ID will be important during all courses of event.
Amateur Filmmaking Competition:
** Team Leaders who have produced none, one or two films in the past are eligible for the Amateur filmmaking competition. Teams who opt for amateur filmmaking competition need not submit the link of their youtube.
** A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and have up to 20 people including the team leader.
** The registration fees for Amateur filmmaking competition is Rs. 2500/- which has to be paid online.
** After completion of the transaction and payment confirmation, you will receive a unique Team ID and a payment confirmation mail from IFP. This Team ID will be important during all courses of event.
Mobile Filmmaking Competition:
** Mobile filmmaking competition is open for everyone. The films have to be shot on mobile phones only. Use of more than one mobile is not allowed.
** Mobile cameras should have a minimum resolution of 5 Mega pixel. A team gets 50 hours to make the film on given theme, and can have up to 20 people including the team leader.
** The registration fees for Mobile filmmaking competition is Rs. 1000/- which has to be paid online.
** After completion of the transaction and payment confirmation, you will receive a unique Team ID and a payment confirmation mail from IFP. This Team ID will be important during all courses of event.
Please Note: The registration fees is non–refundable and non-transferable.

Following Awards will be given in All three categories i.e. Professional, Amateur, and Mobile Filmmaking.
1. Platinum Film of the year
2. Gold Film of the year
3. Silver Film of the year
4. Bronze Film of the year
And awards for film #5 to #10.
Certificates of Appreciation will be presented to:
1. The Final Cut – Editing
2. The Perfect Capture – Cinematography
3. Finest Use of Theme
4. Superlative Music Score
Also announcing soon, lots of other awards for teams. All participants shall receive Certificate of Participation

15th June, 2016 – Registration opens Online
14th September, 2016 – Registration Closes
16th September, 2016 – Declaration of theme + 50 hours competition begins
17th September, 2016 – Filmmaking hours
18th September, 2016 – Filmmaking Competition ends – online submission before 10 PM
24th September, 2016 – Gala Awards Ceremony
