CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE is a centre of education entirely devoted to the promotion of Mathematical and Scientific skills among school going children.

We conduct the ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAMINATION (AIMS TALENT EXAM) every year to enable students to strengthen their basic concepts and analytical ability and build a firm foundation for future competitive examinations such as NTSE, PSA (Problem Solving Aptitude), KVPY Olympiads, IIT-JEE, PMT etc.
It is based on a system that tests not just the memory but also the child’s abilities, hidden talents and special aptitudes.
The Centre conducts the ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAMINATION (AIMS TALENT EXAM) for Std. I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X and awards cash prizes and consolation prizes as well to the Class Toppers at the National Level.
We provide free guidance & counseling (through personal appointments, phone, mail) to the students, teachers & parents for “How to excel in academics by Time Management & Mind Management.”
Examination :
Eligibility : Students studying in class I to X following CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/State Board
Syllabus : Relevant class syllabus.
Subjects : Test of Reasoning, Mathematics & Science
(There is only one (single) exam comprising questions from all the three subjects)
Pattern : Multiple Choice Questions (English Medium only)
– Class I to II : 25 Questions in 60 minutes
– Class III to X : 50 Questions in 60 minutes
How to Apply :
AIMS TALENT EXAM is organized only through the participating schools. The exam is conducted in the respective school of the participants during the school hours itself. The Centre will register the school and the students.
Thereafter, the attendance sheet containing Roll Numbers of the students will be sent along with Question Papers and Guidelines for conducting the Examination.
The schools are requested to send the details of the applicants in the prescribed Registration Form along with the Fees well before the last date to the CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE, 12/102, First Floor, Aditya Commercial Complex, Preet Vihar Community Centre, New Delhi-110092 (Ph. 09968761561, 011- 22527266).
Though not compulsory, the information asked for vide registration form may even be forwarded by mail at aimste1[at]gmail.com. Registration form may even be downloaded from website by clicking “How to apply”.
Exam Fee : ` 100/- per student. [ 60/- extra for booklet, if required.]
The school shall retain
(i) ` 20/- per student towards the honorarium of the invigilator/s and other incidental expenditures like postal expenses, DD Commissions etc.
(ii) ` 5/-per booklet towards special incentive and shall remit ` 80/- per student (+ ` 55/- extra per booklet, if required) to the office of the CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE vide a single consolidated Demand Draft payable in Delhi in favour of CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE.
* The schools (from countries other than India) may write to this office by mail reg. courier and other miscellaneous charges which should be paid along with total fee.
Awards & Recognition :
Prizes for National Rankers of each Class
** First Rank Holder will be awarded a Gold Medal and a Cash Prize of ` 8,000/-.
** Second Rank Holder will be awarded a Gold Medal and a Cash Prize of ` 2,000/-.
** Third Rank Holder will be awarded a Gold Medal and a Cash Prize of ` 1,000/-.
** There are Consolation Prizes too for 4th to 30th All India Rankers in each class.
** Free Registration for next AIMS TALENT EXAM for All India Rankers from Rank 1 to 30.
** Achiever’s Medal to the class topper (with minimum 10 enrolments per class concerned) in each participating school.
** Participation Certificates for all.
** Certificate of Gratitude for the Principals and the coordinating teachers.

It is an excellent paper conducted by respected aims examiners.
I am studying in second standard. I have appeared AIMS maths science talent exam conducted on 17th January 2017. Question No.22 : Questions about planet you have given wrong answer. Mercury is the hottest planet. Instead you have given the choice (e) i.e Venus in its answer instead of (c). I have got fourth rank in previous year. I have marked the answer 2) because all other three are correct in it. Please give me reply.
