“The Contest” shall mean the contest titled ‘The Radio City Super Singer Season 8’ “ (“Contest”) sponsored by Luv IT as Title sponsor, to be conducted in city of Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/Pune/Ahmedabad/Baroda/Surat/Nagpur/Chennai/Jaipur/Lucknow/Hyderabad/Vizag/Coimbatore & Ahmednagar City and available for persons having place of residence at Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/Pune/Ahmedabad/Baroda/Surat/Nagpur/Chennai/Jaipur/Lucknow/Hyderabad/Vizag/Coimbatore, Ahmednagar, Jalgaon, Akola, Nanded, Sangli & Solapur City.

The duration of the contest shall be from 11th August 2016 to 18th September 2016 (both days inclusive), the grand Finale to be organized on 3rd or 4th September 2016 in Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Nagpur/Coimbatore/Vizag & Ahmednagar City and on 17th or 18th September 2016, at Delhi/Ahmedabad/Baroda/Surat/Jaipur & Lucknow at a venue as may be decided from time to time at the sole discretion of “Music Broadcast Limited” (“MBPL”) and/or Radio City 91.1 FM and there shall be only one winner for the contest.

Entry & Participation In The Contest :
First stage of this contest is the audition, wherein interested participants have to come to Radio City offices, address of City offices are mentioned in our website www.planetradiocity.com, timings for audition from 11 AM Indian Standard Time (ISD) hrs to 6.00 p.m ISD (Monday-Saturday),till 25th August in Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/Pune/Ahmedabad/Baroda/Surat/Nagpur/Chennai/Jaipur/Lucknow/Hyderabad/Vizag/Coimbatore & Ahmednagar City AND 8th September 2016 for Delhi/Ahmedabad/Baroda/Surat/Jaipur & Lucknow or live auditions which will be held various Colleges/ venues Malls during the term.

Alternatively the interested participant may upload the recording on the music based portal of the Company namely www.planetradiocity.com or By uploading the recording on the Facebook Front page www.facebook.com/radiocityindia. Once the audition round is over, from all the participants coming for auditions judges will select final five who will go on-air for 5 days asking listeners to vote for them SMS “CITY SPACE CODE OF THE CONTESTANT” to Short Code Number 56060 and these final five will only be given chance to perform on the grand finale on 3rd/4th September OR 17th/18th September 2016 as stated above, however, decision of the jury with regard to the Winner, shall be final and binding.

On the grand finale each finalist gets time for performance in the finals to be decided by the judges. Participants need to perform in the stipulated period of time to avoid negative marking, The participants will need to perform on Hindi songs only. Abusive language or mis-behaviour will lead to immediate disqualification and will be dealt with severe legal consequences, decision of the jury with regard to the Winner, shall be final and binding. Decision Post submitting entries, participants will be automatically added to Radio City’s web portal “www.planetradiocity.com” in New Artist section.

Prize:
a)Subject to participant(s) adhering to the terms and participating in the manner provided herewith, final one winner in this Contest shall be entitled to an assured cash prize of Rs 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) for winners of Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/Chennai/Ahmedabad & Pune City. And Rs 50,000 (Rupees Thousand Only) for winners of Surat/Baroda/Ahmednagar/NagpurJaipur/Hyderabad/Vizag &Coimbatore.

b) All winnings/ prizes won from this contest/s is/are subject to tax deduction at source under section 194B of Indian Income Tax Act. The Company will hand over winner/s letter to the contestant upon obtaining sufficient proof of deduction of requisite tax, if required at source as per law from the winner/s.
