Innovative Skill Competition on “Skilling Odisha”:

Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha is organizing Innovative Skill – Best Hands on Competition on a Theme Topic “Skilling Odisha” for engineering, management, pharmacy, and architecture students on occasion of Sj. Biju Patnaik’s Birth Centenary Year Celebration.

The Project/Model will be judged on the basis of its nobility, acceptability, productibility, and marketability.

The competition will be in 5 Zones:
i.e. North, South, East, West, and South-West. Zone Coordinating Institutes are PMEC, Berhampur, Trident College, Bhubaneswar, Govt. College of Engineering, Keonjhar, Slicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur, and Govt. College of Engineering, Bhawanipatna.

Zone-Wise Competition:
Zone-wise competition of teams consisting of maximum of 03 members per team will be held on 28th September, 2016.

Prizes:
The 1st, 2nd, & 3rd team in the zone-wise final round will be awarded with prize money of Rs.15,000/-, Rs.10,000/- & Rs.5,000/- respectively.

Final Competition:
Final competition will be held at DRIEMS College, Cuttack on 21st October 2016 where the first five teams of each Zone (total 25 Teams) will be participating.

Prizes:
The prize money for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd team in the final round will be Rs.30,000/-, Rs.20,000/- & Rs.10,000/- respectively.
