Essay Writing Competition :

The essay competition is conducted in Marathi / English and Hindi for Junior College and Senior College Students. The essay topics are enlisted in the form below. The essay can be submitted by Saturday, 17th December, 2016.

Eligibility:
Junior College Students (Std. XI & XII) (Boys & Girls) & Degree / Diploma Students (Boys & Girls) (First Year / Second Year / Third Year / Fourth Year)

Presentation of Essays:
** The essays neatly written/typed in double spacing should be submitted through the Head of the Institution, duly attested by the authorities so as to reach us not later than Saturday, 17th December 2016.
** The Name of the College, the residential address of the participants with phone no. should be written on top of the essay paper. Please Do Not Copy directly from the reference books; express in your own words as far as possible.

Evaluation of Essays :
Each essay will be evaluated by a panel of judges, whose decision shall be final & binding.

The evaluation will be based on :
1. The content which gives some evidence of familiarity with Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Literature.
2. Clarity of expression, and
3. Cogent development of the subject.

Separate prizes for Juniors as well as Degree / Diploma students in Marathi, Hindi and English Languages will be declared.

Prizes consist of :
I Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 500/-,
Il Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 300/-,
III Prize : Cash Award of Rs. 200/-.

Encouragement Prize:
Cash Award of Rs. 100/- (in case sufficient number of essays are not received, books on and by Swami Vivekananda will be given by way of prizes instead of cash awards)
