Sell Me The Answer Quiz Competition Audition 2015 :

Sell Me The Answer (“SMTA”) is a quiz show on knowledge and bargaining skills. In this game show there are 2 types of contestants, the Players and the Traders. The Players come to win money by playing and the Traders are there to sell the answer in exchange of money from the Player in case he/she doesn’t know the answer. Here comes the bargaining part, the better one can bargain he/she has a chance to win more money. Players bargain to save money from the Traders and Traders bargain to draw out money from the Players. A Trader will get a single chance per Player to go to the podium and win money by providing the answer. The Program is in Malayalam Language and is being produced by BIG Synergy Media Limited (“Producer”) for initial exhibition on ASIANET (“Channel”), which is owned by ASIANET COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED (ACL)

Procedure :

The registrations for the Schools Episode will be open from September 2, 2015 10.00 Hrs to September 7, 2015 22.00 Hrs. The promotions addressed to schools inviting all Eligible School Children to register for the Competition will be aired on the Channel and the lines shall be open for 6 days i.e. beginning from September 2, 2015 10.00 Hrs to September 7, 2015 22.00 Hrs only. To register for the school episode, the Principal of the school must register by sending SMS in the following format.

Process Of Selection After Registration To Participate In The Competition:
Level 1:
Selection Of Contestants:
The correct valid entries made by respective principals of the schools will be shortlisted by the randomizer on a daily basis from the valid entries received for each day as per pre-defined reservation criteria on a reasonable endeavours basis which is as follows:
Zone 1- Calicut 30%
Zone 2 -Cochin 35%
Zone 3- Thiruvananthapuram 35%
Total -100

Zones:
Zone 1- Calicut, Malappuram, Kannur, Wayanad, Kasargode
Zone 2 -Cochin, Alleppey, Thrissur, Idukki, Palaghat
Zone 3 -Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam

A total of approximately 150 schools will be shortlisted for call-back by mobile on the number used for registration as per the details available with the Company, during the period.

Call Back:

Timelines for the call back is left to the discretion of the Company and all decisions will be based on on-ground conditions, degree of participation, technical issues, force majeure reasons.

Further, the selected school principals will receive calls from the call centre executives (“CCE”) and the selected Registrants must confirm the details required by the call centre executives (“CCE”) immediately. The CCE will ask the Registrant principal to confirm if he/she has sent the entry for participation of his school children in the Competition.

If the principal confirms the same, the CCE will ask the following information from the principal;
** Name of the Principal
** School Name
** School Address
** School Pan No. or recognition No. or affiliation No.
** Whether the school is co-education or exclusive for girls or boys After recording the above information, CCE will inform the principal,
** That two students are eligible to be nominated from the school
** If the school is co-education, one boy and one girl shall be nominated
** The nominated children/students should be between 10 and 17 years of age

The CCE will further inform the principal to be ready with/ arrange the following details and documents.
1. The names, date of birth and current standard of the two students to be nominated to participate in the auditions on school’s behalf.
2. Names of the parents of the nominated students
3. Name of the teacher who will accompany the student to the Audition venue and shoot, if selected
4. Either father or mother or guardian should accompany the student attending the audition
