Science Essay Writing Competition :

To discover scientific talent and encourage students to think on broader aspects of science and technology, the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology organizes a State Level Science Essay Writing Competition for the children in the age group of 14-16 years every year, under the project Celebration of National Science Day.

Students of class 8th to 10th are eligible to participate in this competition. The competition is open to children in both English and Punjabi languages. This competition is organized at District Level through District Science Supervisors. The 1st and 2nd position winners at the District Level are further interviewed at the State level.

The Essay Competition for 2016 is proposed to be organized on four topics:
** Mysteries of Science & Technology
** Teaching Science in the 21st Century
** Make in India:S&T Driven Innovation
** Indian Women in Science &Tecnology Careers

Students may contact their District Science Supervisors to take part in the competition.
