Berger Priyo Pujo Contest 2015 :

It’s that time of the year again! The biggest festival of Bengal – the Durga Puja is here. The whole city of Kolkata is pulsating with the symphony of conch shells, the rhythmic roll of dhaks, the burning of incense, and the chanting of hymns. Nature, too, has joined in the celebrations with sunny weather and white cotton clouds floating in the clear blue sky.

Amidst all the fun and festivities of Durga Puja, it’s also time for one of Kolkata’s biggest extravaganza – Berger Priyo Pujo. In this event, the power is in your hands. Your vote for the best pujo will decide this year’s Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujo – a unique platform for the city’s best pujos vying for the Bumper Prize. This unique award initiated by Berger Paints gives power in the hands of Kolkata’s public to decide who’s the best. Call or log on to www.bergerpriyopujo.com to vote.

So, go on. Pick the Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujo of 2015. Each of the Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujo will get Rs. 50,000/- as prize money.

Step 1:
Pujo Committees to register their pujos through a printed registration form/online registration on website. Last date of registration is Sept 14, 2015.

Step 2:
Voting for the 1st Phase for popular Berger Priyo Pujos will be opened to the public from Sept 15 – Sept 27, 2015. All voting will take place either through phone number 81009 81009 or www.bergerpriyopujo.com

Step 3:
Voting for the 2nd Phase is scheduled from Sept 29 – Oct 14, 2015. In this, 24 pujos will be shortlisted based on the number of votes. If the pujo is part of the Top 24, it would be promoted across the media. Each of the 24 Berger Priyo Pujos will be given unique SMS codes. All voting will take place either through phone number 81009 81009 or www.bergerpriyopujo.com or by SMS mentioning the unique SMS code of the puja.

Step 4:
During this time, citizens of Kolkata who register to get their home painted through Berger Express Painting in September will get a chance to participate in a lucky draw. 10 lucky citizens will get a chance to be on the panel of Citizen Judges, wherein they will be treated like VIPs and get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to judge the top Berger Priyo Pujos of Kolkata. Step 5:
The final result of the selection of Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujos will be based on citizen votes and the ratings given by the Citizen Judges. The Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujos will be declared in the newspapers on Oct 19, 2015 and will be given a Bumper Prize and trophy by Berger Paints.

Step 6:
The names of the Top 10 Berger Priyo Pujos will be aired on Saptami, Ashtami, Nabami and Dashami on radio.

Terms & Conditions :

** If your pujo is among the Top 24, then you will have to put up 2 BERGER PRIYO PUJO banners around the pandal.
** Only one vote will be counted from each platform.
** All e-mail votes will be verified.
** All the prize money will be given in the form of cheques after deducting Govt. taxes.
** The verdict of the citizens, including ratings given by Berger Express Painting customer Citizen Judges will be final.
** All participating pujos will have to display Berger Express Painting Standee or equivalent.
** In case of any disputes, the decision of Berger Paints will be final.
