Rules for photo competition :
1) Contest is open for Anyone over 18 years and above.

2) Each Contest photo entry must be the original creation of each entrant and must not contain any pre-existing, third party content. Third party content includes and is not limited to trademarks, brands, logos, borders and/or images that are not the property of the entrant. Each entry must be unique and not infringe the rights of any third party.

3) Light art academy will no way be responsible for the entries submitted by the members if they are found stolen.
4) Members are requested to provide with their contact details for Administrators Co-ordination purpose. The Information may not be shared with Anyone.

5) All photograph submissions must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image). Minimum size is 2mb and Maximum size is 10 MB.

6) Minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable. Hand tinting is acceptable, as is cropping. Fish-eye lenses are acceptable.

High dynamic range images (HDR) and stitched panoramas are acceptable only if the combined parts are all made around the same time. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible for a prize.

7) Nude/Smoking/Drinking Photos may not be accepted. Portraying Poor/Poverty side of Persons/Humans wont be accepted.

8) Judging : Photographs Will be Judged by Canon Photo Mentor : Dharma Chandru
First prize and Second Prize: Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit

Third Prize: Images with originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit and with Maximum number of Votes Will be chosen by the Judge. Images just with Maximum number of votes will not be declared as winner.

9) All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date.

10) By entering the contest, entrants grant Light Art Academy a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or subsequently developed, for any educational, promotional, publicity, exhibition, archival, scholarly and all other standard purposes.

Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. We will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.

11) Prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. Prizes may not be exactly as shown in promotional materials. In case of unavailability of any Prize or for any other reason the Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

12) Each winner will be notified by the Contest Administrator and will receive their prize from the Sponsor. No correspondence will be entered into except with potential winners.

13) Winners should send their High Resolution Photos and other details requested by the admins within 7 days.

Original RAW or JPEG files straight out of the camera will most likely be requested for auditing purposes, If a RAW or original JPEG image is not available, the photo may be disqualified. If not we have the right to change it to next deserving contestant.

14) Decision taken by the Judges are final and Light Art Academy holds the right to cancel/Change the winner at anytime.
15) Each Registered User could upload up to 3 Photos per Contest.
