On account of the 15th Anniversary of Thoothoor.com services, we present this opportunity for our people to bring out their special talent in short film making.

About the Short Film Contest :
Theme : An important social issue that affected you
Length : Maximum 7 minutes including title
Languages : Tamil, Malayalam, English

Rules :
** Short film should be original in all aspects.
** Any video capture device can be used to film the short film including good mobile phone, digital camera, so on
** Short films made before January 2016 are not eligible.
** One person can perform in more than one short film.

Who can Participate :
Anybody from anywhere who is interested

How to Participate :
Step 1
Register your Name before 28-02-2017 using any of the below method:
** Contact any of the Admin of thoothoor.com
** Send email to admin[at]thoothoor.com

Step 2
Form a team and make a short film with original story and concept
Step 3
Edit and create the short film video file
Step 4
Submit the short film using any of the below method:
** Upload the short film in youtube.com ‘may be’ as an unlisted video. Make sure the YouTube video description starts as “[Thoothoor.com Short Film Contest 2017 Entry]” and then the actual description.
** Contact 9845147058 by phone call or WhatsApp for assistance

Step 5
Send the following details by email (admin[at]thoothoor.com) or phone number (9845147058)
** YouTube video link
** The title for the short film
** Short description to explain the concept of the short film
** Names of the Director, Story Writer, Camera Man, Main Actors
Step 6
Relax and wait for the fury to evaluate and announce the result

Rewards :
Certificates : All contest entries shortlisted in the preliminary round will be issued participation certificate.

Best Director – Trophy & Rs 2000/-
Best Story Writer – Trophy & Rs 2000/-

Rules of the Rewards :
** Winner Title will be given to the team identified by the director.
** The director of winner title film will be given Best Director award.
** Winner Title (Special Pool) is to motivate artists from coastal places in Kanyakumari district (i.e. the director should be from a coastal village in Kanyakumari district).
