SMS Contest starts at 06:30 PM to 10:00 PM on monday to friday

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE “GENERAL RULES”) ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS/ OF UDAYA TV SMS KALSI PRIZE GELLI – (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE “CONTEST”) PROMOTED / ORGANIZED BY M/S SUN TV NETWORK LTD (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS “STNL”). THE RULES CAN BE AMENDED OR VARIED FROM TIME TO TIME BY STNL.

** Period of the Contest: The contest starts from August 24th 2015, Monday at 6.30 pm and ends on September 19th 2015, Saturday at 10:00AM. For any day from Monday to Saturday during the contest period, Contest hours would be from 6.30 PM of the current day and valid till 10.00 AM of the next day, Monday-Saturdays of the week. For Ex: The questions asked on Monday, 24th Aug 2015 at 7:30PM should be answered before Tuesday, 25th Aug 2015 10:00AM.

** The contest is open only for residents of India only, who have completed 18 years or more as on the date of entering/participating in the Contest. Explicitly Viewers outside the Territory of India shall not be allowed to participate in the content.

** “Udaya TV” will ask three (3) questions any time from 6.30 PM to 10.00 PM from the serials broadcasted from Monday to Friday. Viewers have to watch all the programs closely and carefully, so as to answer the questions correctly.

** Each day of the Contest, 3 questions will be asked to the viewers between 6.30 PM to 10.00 PM in Udaya TV. 300 winners will be selected on a daily basis, 100 from each question. 300 Winners will be selected based on correct answers received for the questions asked. The winners will be announced on the next day between 6.30 PM to 10.00 PM in Udaya TV.

** Each Question will have 3 options A, B & C. The viewers have to answer each question separately. The SMS should be sent to 58585 for all operators except Idea Karnataka and 55858 for Idea with the correct keyword like the format below,

** US1 (space) Correct answer (space) Name (Space) City to the question. For Ex : US1 A or applicable keyword which will be announced during the contest. In the above example, the format is specified for the first question with the option.

** Viewers have to send the answers with the correct keyword asked for every question on Udaya TV and send an SMS with the keyword and correct option to 58585 for all operators except Idea Karnataka. For Idea Karnataka the short code is 55858. Each SMS to 58585/55858 will be charged at Rs.3 per SMS irrespective of the telecom operator.

** The viewers sending SMS without the correct contest keyword (US1 or US2 or US3) will be treated as invalid and shall be summarily rejected. The reply SMS will be sent as Please Watch the Channel and Send your SMS with Correct Keywords.

** The viewers have to send the correct answers before 10:00 AM of the following day. For Ex: If the contest questions are asked on TV on Monday, the answers have to be sent on or before 10:00 AM of Tuesday, to be eligible for winning the prizes.

** Viewers can send any number of SMSes to participate in the contest. Sending more number of SMSes does not mean the eligibility of winning is higher.

** STNL will not be responsible in any way for failure of any backend technology of any applications and resultant inability of a user for participation.

** 300 winners from amongst the Correct Entries, if the number of SMS exceeds 300 received by STNL every day the winners will be randomly chosen and only the winners will be informed by our STNL Team. The Prize details every week are as below,

** 300 Silver Articles every day from 24th Aug 2015 to 28th Aug 2015 for 300 Winners, totaling 1500 Silver Articles for the 1st week.

** 300 Silk Sarees every day from 31st Aug 2015 to 4th Sep 2015 for 300 winners, totaling 1500 Silk Sarees for the 2nd week.

** 300 Smart Phones every day from 07th Sep 2015 to 11th Sep 2015 for 300 winners, totaling 1500 Smart Phones for the 3rd week.

** For 300 Winners per day, the Prizes will be a mix of 100 Silver Articles, 100 Silk Sarees and 100 Smart Phones every day from 14th Sep 2015 to 18th Sep 2015 totaling 500 Silver Articles, 500 Silk Sarees & 500 Smart Phones for the 4th week.

** Contest Prizes for the Daily contest will be announced the next day on Udaya TV between 6.30 PM to 10.00 PM on the next day.

** STNL Holds no responsibility or liability in case the winner/winners fail to be contactable by STNL on the day of the results being declared by STNL for any reason, having made despite the best efforts of STNL. A Maximum of 2 attempts will be made to contact each winner by STNL. In such a case, STNL shall not be liable to prove the efforts made in this regard.

** Winners will have to come to a designated location at a specified time to collect prizes. The location and time will be decided by STNL and informed to the winners at the time of calling.

** In case of any dispute or difference in respect of the prize/ selection of winners, the decision of STNL shall be final and binding on all the participants and winners.

** Winner will be liable to pay the taxes and any other considerations, as applicable on the winning prize/prizes. STNL, if required, shall deduct the applicable taxes. The winner will be intimated of the same by our STNL Team during the call.

** The prize shall be given to the winner on production of valid documents for Photo and ID proof. The winners may be required to sign the Terms and Conditions herein before accepting the prize. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by STNL, STNL is entitled to cancel and forfeit the prize for the said winner and then the same prize will be given to the next eligible lucky winner.

** Though STNL shall make every effort to declare the results of the Contest on the due date for the respective prize draws, it shall not be responsible for any delay in announcing winners of the respective prize draws arising out of reasons beyond its control in the normal course of business.

** All the costs and expenses for collecting the prize will be borne solely by the winner and STNL shall not entertain any claim, whatsoever. The winner is solely responsible for any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the offer.

** The prize shall be non-transferable, non-negotiable and are non-cashable, Non-Exchangeable and no such request shall be entertained by STNL. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, STNL reserves the sole right to offer an alternative prize of the same value.

** Employees of STNL and its affiliates/subsidiaries, sponsors of the prizes, associated agencies, participating operators and their immediate family members and relatives are not eligible to participate in this contest.

** STNL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the participants while participating in the Contest.
