Game of Thrones Family Tree Contest :

The following are the terms and conditions governing the “Game of Thrones Family Tree” contest (“Contest”) hosted by Star India Private Limited (“Star India”) for the promotion and engaging the viewers of the program “Game of Thrones S1-6” (“Program”)” on Star World SD and HD (“Channel”).

The contest shall be held on Star World Facebook profile at the URL https://www.facebook.com/StarWorldIndia/ (“Official Facebook Page”) from 21st April, 2017 till 24th April 2017. The Contest shall commence from 11 A.M. on 21st April 2017 till 11:59 P.M. on 24th April 2017 (“Contest Period/Period”).

Principle Rules:
1. To participate in the Contest the Participant(s) shall follow the procedure as detailed below:
a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of 18 (eighteen) years of age or above at the start date of the Contest Period. The Participant(s) should not have criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Star India and the members of their immediate family are ineligible from participating in the Contes

c) All Participant(s) must have a valid Facebook account to be eligible to participate in the Contest.

d) The Process of the Contest:
i. Participant(s) are required to participate in the Contest by interacting with the newsfeed post regarding the Contest on the Official Facebook Page. Upon clicking the post, the Participants would be directed to a family network tree framework of the Game of Thrones houses and thereafter the Participants would be required to place ten (10) characters in their correct position in the family tree framework posted on the Official Facebook Page.

e) For the avoidance of doubt, for the purpose of calculation of the time period taken by the Participant(s) to publish an Entry, Star India shall rely on the time stamp of such Entry. Star India’s decision in this regard shall be final and binding.

f) The Participant(s) shall ensure that the Entry is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of the society, defamatory of any person deceased or alive, etc.

g) Each Participant shall follow the Facebook Page. Failure to comply with the same shall render the Participant(s) Entry invalid.

h) Each Entry shall be judged inter alia, on the time taken to complete the entire family network by placing the Game of Thrones characters in the correct house in the shortest time frame. The decision of Star India is final and binding in this regard.

i) At the end of the Contest Period, out of all the correct Entry/ies received within the Contest Period, top ten (10) Participants whose Entries is valid and compliant on the aforesaid parameters shall be selected on the basis of their ranks and shall be eligible to win the Contest (“Shortlisted Participant(s)”).

2. The Shortlisted Participant(s) will be contacted via Direct Message (“Private Message”) to provide their name, age, email id and phone number (“Contact Details”) to hello@startv.com within 24 hours of such Private Message. In the event any Shortlisted Participant(s) fails to submit their details their Entry shall be invalidated.
