The World Anaesthesia Day Conference 2017, the theme being Game Changers in Anaesthesiology is scheduled on the 14th & 15th of October 2017 at one of the finest and tastefully designed Hotel Sahara Star at Santacruz, Mumbai. The pre-conference workshops form an integral part of the program and will be conducted on 13th Oct 2017 at various venues in Mumbai.

The field of anaesthesiology, pain management & critical care has been exponentially expanding over the past few decades and our roles are no longer bound to the operating room. With this in mind, our scientific committee has put together a comprehensive and clinically relevant program that will update you on the latest standards and innovations that have been the game – changers in our profession . We promise you excellent academic interactions with a galaxy of international and national eminent faculty who will share their knowledge and expertise on the recent advances in the field of anaesthesia, pain & critical care .

Instructions for Essay Competition :
** For Registered Postgraduate students and Registered delegates.
** Word limit- 1000 words
** Format – MS Word
** Separate prize for PG student and other delegates
** Top 3 students and top 3 delegates will present their essays on the podium on 15/10/2017.
** Panel of 5 judges will assess the essays.
** Judges decision will be final.

** Novel Idea related to anaesthesia

Instructions for Quiz Competition :
** Test your knowledge at Anaesthesia quiz WAD 2017
** We will be conducting quiz for students as a part of our conference. Elimination round will be conducted on 14th October 2017 in Hall C for
** Students can form group of 2 students and answer the MCQs.
** 4 teams having best scores will be selected for the final round to be held on 15th October 2017.

Instructions for the Quiz for post graduates :
** The candidates will have to choose their own partners to form the team and answer the MCQs of the elimination round as a team.
** A written elimination round of 30 MCQs will be conducted prior to the Quiz to select best four teams.
** The Quiz will have 8 rounds with each round having 2 questions.
** Each round will have different types of questions
** Each team has to answer every question
** Before every new set of questions, the team will be instructed regarding how to answer
** 10 seconds will be given to choose the answer, after the question and the options are read
** 10 points for each correct answer
** No negative markings
** If there is a tie between the teams then there will be a ‘tie round’ between those teams
** Quiz Master’s Decision will be Final
