Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Mann ki Baat has urged the people to discover the wonders of #IncredibleIndia. The Ministry of Tourism is organizing the Paryatan Parv, a celebration of India’s rich tourist heritage, from 5th to 25th October across the country. As part of the celebrations, citizens are encouraged to share their travel stories in Incredible India (destinations, heritage, culture, cuisine, nature, etc.) on the MyGov blog platform.

Terms & Conditions

** The contest is open to all Indians residing in India and starts on 5th Oct 2017 at 1730 hrs.
** You can participate in the contest by registering on MyGov platform and submitting entries on MyGov in PDF format.
** Multiple entries by a person and Group entries are not allowed
** Anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter the contest will be ineligible
** Submitted work must not violate the copyrights of any third party.
** Blogs should be submitted through the on screen editor and should not be of more than 1000 words.
** All entries should be accompanied with a brief line mentioning the subject as well as the title. Also, mention participant’s name, contact number and email id.
** You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of the blog submitted and the blog should not have been previously published in any print and digital media.
** The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
** Ministry of Tourism, MyGov or MeitY does not accept any liability for the publication of unlawfully reproduced images
** Computer-generated or computer-altered images/videos will not be accepted. Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted
** Ministry of Tourism, MyGov and MeitY takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries
** By entering your blog, you grant Ministry of Tourism the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution
** The winners consent to the use of their blog, name and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Ministry of Tourism, without further compensation
** Best blog, according to Ministry of Tourism, will be used on the official social media channels of Ministry of Tourism and the subsequent newsletter if any with attribution
** By submitting your blog you accept that you are the copyright owner of and that you agree to our terms and conditions and thus are eligible for entry into this contest

Winners Details

** The last date for submission of blog is 20th Oct 2017 by 5pm and the winners will be declared within 28 days from this date either by email or by way of announcing their names on the MyGov blog page.
** The first 3 winners in each contest will be given Holiday packages (of destinations within India) for 2 people starting from 3 nights & 4 days.
** There will be no notification to participants of rejected entries.
** All entries in each category will be judged based on creativity, originality and composition by Ministry of Tourism with the help of an expert panel nominated by Ministry of Tourism.
** Ministry of Tourism reserves the right to reject any entry which he/she does not feel is suitable or appropriate or which does not confirm to any of the conditions listed above.
** Once a winner is declared, the winner will revert with confirmation email within 3 working days or another winner will be chosen.
** Employees (and members of immediate family) of Ministry of Tourism, its affiliated offices and their respective agencies are ineligible for this promotion.
