You would develop automation frameworks (Python) and tests, create test harnesses, collaborate with testers and developers to develop a product’s testing strategy including Whitebox (C++) testing and help the functional testers to identify right tests to execute when there is a code change.

Rules to play the Coding Contest:
** The Qick Heal Coding Contest comprises of 1 contest : C++/Java/Perl/Python Coding Contest
** Contestant can submit their solution 2 times in this contest.
** The only requirement is to code in C++/Java/Perl/Python Language.
** You will be able to access the problem statement once you click the “Solve Problem” button.
** The Problem Statement page has a Live Coding Environment where you can code and compile your code.
** There are 1 Coding Questions and 13 multiple choice questions, coding question consists of 100 marks and each MCQ consists of 5 marks.
** To score marks contestants need to clear the test cases which are built to check your code.
** Sum of all the test cases is equal to 100 marks.

Job Details:
Experience: Minimum 5 years
** Experience in building Automation/Test Harnesses 2+ years.
** Minimum of 1 year development experience in C++, C# will be an added advantage.

Education: BCS, MCS, BE, ME, BTech, MTech in Computer Science.

Essential Skills:
** Should have sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC.
** Strong Automation skills including ability to develop test harness
** Good understanding of development methodology, design patterns and engineering practices.
** Good Programming skills (any 1) – Python, Perl, C#
** Should be able to design Test Plan, Test Specification and Test Cases document for product or product feature.
** Should have good knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking.
** Strong analytical, testing & technical skills.
** Should be able to debug and troubleshoot applications using the Event log, network monitoring tools, Application Verifier.
** Knowledge and experience in below areas will be an added advantage.
** Application/Product Performance Testing
** Ability to review code (C++).
** Strong customer focus that includes ability to understand the product, market & customer needs.
** Strong written and oral communication skills including proactive, positive work attitude.
** Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgment.
** Is resourceful and is able to come up with alternative solutions, when addressing problems.
** Is able to effectively support the lead in achieving team goals.
